I remember this thread saying that a playoff format was not finalized. Has anything changed since?

      Mon, Apr 01, 2002, 11:48 		Regarding playoffs, how will the head-to-head format work? In baseball their were 8 qualifiers and 8 teams in the actual playoffs, so you could follow the same round by round format. In basketball there is an extra round of playoffs. I assume one elimination round will last 2 real rounds, but you could either do it at the beginning or the end.

Also, how will the final 2 playoff spots be determined? I couldn't find the rules on the Gleem site.

      Mon, Apr 01, 2002, 12:55 		Let's just do cumulative points. It keeps everyone in it for the length of the playoffs and avoids any "2 round" rounds. But everyone needs to agree to this.

The qualifiers are 6 Monthly Qualifiers and the 2 top non-qualifying Total Points. (The rules says 7 Monthly Qualifiers, but I was obviously having counting issues back in October/November)

If everyone agrees to this, I'll change the rules. If one person is against it, then it stays as the rules state.

OSU Rules, the "Rules" link is at the top of the Picks page, right between "Today's Picks" and "Leaders"
