According to the Memphis Journal Constitution Pau Gasol has added 20 pounds and is now around 255.

i wont pick ratliff. It's a very risky pick, and i wont have risky picks before i'll have my starters all picked. I think that loosing a pick here is crucial, and i can't see him as a stud for whom is worth taking this risk.

Even if it seems we're out from the scudetto race this year (but look for mancio to have a huge impact.....), don't worry: Bobo and Hernan will punch your crappy defense.

First..as I predict the value of Manu Ginobili now is rasine to heaven. I'm shocked ..and an idiot I had a strong feeling on Argentina victory over Usa and I didn' bet anything..well py picks 7.12 Tony Parker 8.1 Michael Jordan Explainations: I desperatley need a Point guard..I prefer to bet on a guy who has shown great flashes and can improve a lot 8.1 ..unbelievable he sleeped until round 8.. I think he'll play another year and he'll play enough minutes to be a great contributor for a n°8 pick

Wow, MJ. That is really a gamble, could turn out to be a master move, but there is also another possibility...
Memphis, your team looks very interesting. So far, everybody (except Christie) is potential all-star, but are you sure that you have a good doctor ;) With McDyess, Hill and Ratliff you really need to have a good, full-cover health insurance ;)

Rubalamp: how did you know I'll pick Gerard Wallace? :-) Seriously I can't trade Ben Wallace..he is another role, you may be interested in one of my future pick..I can give you my 10.1 ..also MJ, if he retire of course, but he can't retire this year!

LOL!
Very true, I think Dyess will be fine. I have concerns over Hill & Ratliff tho. I couldnt resist. 17ppg 9rb 5as with good %'s for Hill, before he got hurt last year, gives me at least the impression he can succeed. (And we all know about his DET years) And Theo, well, I needed a top blocker since my only other real threat was Kani. Hopefully, the playoff pledge, and his year off will keep him on the floor. But I'll have a backup too. Maybe Nazr :)
You've got blocked pretty much won every week. If I match you I prob. wont even attempt BLK! lol. Ole Cotton should be interesting, and dayum, i wanted Tim Thomas :<

Dickerson is the man! :>
I don't think there is even a chance of Westley starting. Although I can see him getting decent minutes. Lineup will be: JWil/Battier/Gasol/Gooden/Ren with Person backing up Gasol off his natural possition. It would take Battier and Dicky both getting hurt to put him into the starting line. Which, considering last year.. could happen. LOL. I know Lowe has plans of playing Gasol at 5 too tho. Which should shift Battier down to SF and Dickerson up to SG. Then if Dicky went out Person would get good numbers against smaller teams. Should be interesting to watch. We're finally getting talent! :>

Rubalamp my offer wasn't Ginobili for my 10th pick, but a trade with other players including mine 10.1 pick For instance if you like Ben Wallace, you must give me Alonzo Mourning (same kind of player) It's mine 1.12(12)+10.1(108 picks overall)=120 and yours 4.6(42)+7.7 (79)=121 picks..in a mathematical point of view it's au pair offert..in reality it's clearly a good advantage for you because the best rebounder and blocker of the league is alone worthy a rookie and an old player highly-risky, so if you are interested in the trade we can discuss more.. We can also set a trade with other players..some ideas?

I dont know much about Ginobili. But he's not starting as of now. I could see J Richardson, for Ginobili if he's all you guys make him out to be. I still think your losing, but at least its not your first pick. Seems crazy to lose a first round pick for a 4th. The difference between 7th and 10th round isnt nearly as high.

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Clippers forward Lamar Odom, slow to recover from an ankle injury last season, has hurt the ankle again during a rehab workout. Odom, 22, had a cast placed on his right ankle Monday, and he's expected to be unable to work out for up to 12 weeks. He played in just 29 games last season. He first was sidelined by a wrist injury, then sprained his right ankle Feb. 14. He has been undergoing rehab for the ankle, but twisted it again during a recent workout. Odom averaged 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds during his limited appearances last season.

Rubalamp everybody say the trade is a madness. But I like the idea, I think the trade can be done in this way: if you include your 9.6 pick for my 12.12 the trade is done. Maybe I'll not do it in real life, but this is a game and I want to have fun Jason Richardson in All star Game was more than impressive. His stats in 2nd half of season are also quite good. He's not only plenty of talent, he's an hard worker too. I consider him untradeable. Ginobili speak a basic english and a fluent italian. Most of argentinian played in italian league and have an italian passport because of italian relatives. Hugo Sconochini will back in Milan next year, and finally we'll have a decent team after years. Just something to be proud as italian and milanese :-)

Note: 9.6 is actually a 9.7
I will have to get some good snags in the last rounds, but I agree to this trade.
I guess if you agree it is a done deal.

i like Rubalamp's side of this transaction but it seems to be fair enough to me
rookies rarely have great years statistically - POW/Battier had good numbers on a terrible team where they played alot of minutes - Gino won't play those minutes in SanAn - he won't be the man like POW became (TD!) and the offence won't run through him like it did through Battier
Jay Williams will likely have better numbers b/c he will play the minutes and the Bulls will be willing to lose with the kids on the floor

Ok, guys thanks for suggestions. Probably in real life I'll follow them. But in a game the fun side is more important Rubalamp the trade is done. I think Ginobili (and Tony Parker too) can beneficiate a lot the presence of Tim Duncan. Plus I read this on 'Zo, made my hope he'll back to his old level. On the other side I love Ben Wallace attitude, but he's very limited in offense. Lazzio here you have the e-mail

Youngbuck, I don't even hate you and I think you have a decent team. I like this trade for me, but I am pretty concerned about the type of players I will be able to get from here on out.
I may be interested in getting Peja if there would be any trade interest there...Mr. Nice Guy, how nice are you?

Here's what an article on what I was saying about Fortson being stuck behind Jamison. Looks like he's pretty angry. Could turn out good, or be another Marc Jackson.

I don't know if Dunleavy is definitely a starter. He has the chance to earn it, but with Fortson wanting the PF spot, Jamison could get the SF spot. I don't know if Dunleavy is good enough to defend the SG position at this level...

no he's probably saying he's not enough quick to defend Nba SG, as his old roommate Shane Battier. ... Ehi guys I have a wonderful news for everyone, in particular for me: In Washington DC there are now poster with written "come to see Michael Jordan, Richard Hamilton e Juan Dixon meeting Boston Celtics in opener Nba" ..so it's very probably MJ will back - at least for opener :-)

I am saying he is a tall lanky guy that would get killed trying to guard the premiere SG in the league...TMac, Kobe, Iverson, Pierce. I think he will be good as a SF. I was simply saying he may not start because I don't think they will want him to be at the two spot. Now, maybe he could reserve at both the 2 and the 3, but I think going head to head with the quick slashing type players is going to wear on him, and make him look worse than he really is. He played some at PF for Duke, I mean, come on...

Dunlevy is a starter.
Jamison and Fortson will battle for PF. Which I think Jamison will take. But Twan might share alot of minutes and maybe even eventually lose.

I really do not think that Dunleavy will get the starting spot in the beginning of the season. Think about how much Fortson or Jamison would bitch? And I just don't think he's good enough for it.

I think Dunleavy will start as SF, with Richardson SG and they can both switch positions.. Jamison is the PF.. Warriors are trying to trade Fortson all the ways..for a C (Dampier-Foyle are both good reserve, not starters) or a PG Infact they're not convicted of Arenas as a truly PG..he's SG in a body of PG..so can be the 1st change for 1-2 spot, but as n°2 they have also a great shooter in rookie Jiri Welsh
