Draft order:
Kings (Purple Pimp)
Nets (Wiggs)
Mavs (Culdeus)
Wiz (leggestand)
Nuggets (incubus fella)
Knicks (Knicksfan)
Suns (CanEHdian Pride)
76ers (wazzap guy)
Blazers (twarpy)
Bulls (Farn)
Wolves (punk)
Raptors (beebop)

We will start draft immediately and will waive the 1 hour 30 minute time limit for the 1st round.

Auto picks will come from the yahoo O-ranks.

Trade will require 5 votes to veto.

There will be a vote every 2 weeks. Week starts on monday oct 28 -sunday nov. 10th and so on. I will post the totals on monday and votes will be required to me via email tuesday night by midnight. My email is Wiggs1766@hotmail.com

Lets have a good season. If anything else comes up we will discuss it on the boards.
Let the draft begin!

I don't like the veto rule. Survivor is all about collusion. Taking that power away takes away much of the strategy of Survivor.

The one rule is that there are no rules.

If we do adopt the "no rules" rule. I'd just like to apologize in advance to all of the gurupies that I have to step on and manipulate in order to win this thing. If we are no longer friends after the season is over I'd like everyone to know that I have truly valued their friendship to date.

there has to be rules for vetoing trades. We cant have bs trades going through or the league will suck.

He was just saying that it wouldn't be true Survivor because the game is all about playing with multiple players and colusion and using them until you basically vote them out.

to explain it further..

lets say on real surivor Joe Smith is the best swimmer and fisher. Can Joe Smith rub John Doe on the back and by diffusion make him great at swimming and fishing? No. Can Joe Smith come back to swim and fish for the tribe once he is voted off? No.

So dumb trades can't go through or the game is a farce.

you can tag up together and vote people off. You just can't give up your good players as you are being eliminated or give them up in general for crap.

I've gotta work tonight at 9:30 ET. So when will the time limit go into effect? Before I get home from work at 6:30am, or tomorrow?

ok, a nice discussion with Pride has led me to believe we can go basically without rules. I need to wait to talk to wiggs tonight but at this point I think any trade will be allowed up until we have 4 players left. At that time no trades will be allowed.

This way you can trade a good player to another team in your conference to make them better and strengthen your overall average scores.

Barring something unforseen draft with this in mind.

Aight, I was bored watching baseball (yawn). Got a basic SS up for the league. I'll edit the font and cell sizes to fit a little better. to make the pageloads shorter I'll try to keep the updated SS's in one thread.

fine whatever even though i don't see why it wouldn't be fair if we just swap 1 pick based on a circumstance arising that is out of someone's control. even if we did it now after that last pick it still wouldn't change things but whatever its your guys draft i guess i cant do anything.

I agree with the decision that wiggs made. It is in the rules that after the time is up, there be an autopick. That is how it must be. I did not have any planned picks, so I can't be sure I would have taken Wallace. In fact even if it could be changed now, I probably would stick with what I've got.

wg, if u switch picks now then it screws someone coming up next. I have this feeling everyone is gonna get auto'd at one point or another, if u wanted you could have told someone who you wanted if it came to you and you weren't at a computer. I did that for my first 2 picks

ok i would have done that i was going out, i definately would have left a queue. but i was just following my normal routine today and should have been back at 9, why would i assume i would be back later if i came back at that time every thursday night so far this year. if there had been a lot of picks gone by then i would understand and wouldn't even suggest making a different pick. but since the matter here would just have been one simple swap that would have led to what should have happened, i dont see why people think thats unfair. but whatever, thats just me and its too late now so f it.
