I will get the draft up at Kafenatid as quickly as I can.
This Supplemental Draft will be comprised of 6 rounds. The draft will be in inverse order of finish (lottery exception) and will not snake. For purposes of the draft, keeper picks were designated as rounds 1-6, so this draft will be labeled as rounds 7-12.
We will proceed with a 4 hour clock. There will be a clock moratorium each night from 1am until 7am Eastern time. Picks can continue to be made during the moratorium period, but the clock will be paused. In addition, there will be a cumulative clock of 8 hours for each manager. This will be imposed subject to Commissioner discretion, in the event that the draft is not moving at an acceptable pace, particularly if one drafter is chronically late with picks.
The draft is configured for only G, F and C. If you draft a player who is eligible for multiple positions, just choose the position designation that seems most appropriate. This is only for the purposes of displaying the draft results, and has no bearing on your eventual usage options.
Here are my ground rules for selecting from a queue: If you have a queue and make it available, and it is your turn to pick, I will make your pick if I'm around - unless you have provided specific instructions via email or in this thread. Therefore, do not make (or leave) your queue available if you do not want it used. Even if you have no designated pickers set up, if your queue is marked available, I will be able to use it when it is your turn.
You can specify that only the top name on your queue is to be displayed, or that the entire queue is to be shown. If you make the entire queue visible, I'll certainly check for any emails that might provide additional instructions. You can also authorize a DP to make a selection "free-form" (i.e., typing in the name, rather than selecting from a preset list.) Presumably, you would elect this only if you provide specific instructions to your DP(s).
Regardless, be aware that your queue is not visible to me or to any other designated picker until it is your turn to pick. And if you do not make it available, then no one will be able to use it, regardless of whether you have any players in it.
Please refrain from mentioning any undrafted player in this thread. You can use this thread to alert others about your availability, to request volunteers to accept a queue, to raise questions about draft rules or mechanics, to solicit trade offers or announce trades, etc.
I will code all of the trades into Kafenatid, so it should automatically proceed in the proper sequence. If you think there has been an error, please speak up quickly.
After selecting your draft pick at kafenatid, please pick up your player at the ESPN game site as well. This will assist the draft by keeping the universe of available players as current as possible.

I guess I'm full of questions tonight. Prior to the draft commencing, will the ESPN rosters reflect our keepers so we will have a players available list to refer to for drafting? Also, I'm relieved about the four hour clock as I'm not sure how much access I will have tomorrow during the work day and would hate to time out and lose a first round pick.

The new player needs some more help. Shocking. Well, I read thread #2 saying Kafenatid instructions sent out via ESPN mail. I've searched high and low and can't seem to find any way to view e-mail's on ESPN. I figured out how to send e-mails to individuals and the whole league but can't figure out how to view them. I am still working on getting the Kafenatid draft up and running. I cannot set the draft order and input all of the trades input until EVERY MANAGER has signed up for Kafenatid. That will slow things down as I will still have to enter 120 keepers and 20 trades into the system.
Until then, I think we have no choice but to start manually. But again I have a problem: I can't post anything from work and it's impossible to cut-and-paste the keepers into this thread so we can Cnt-F search in this draft discussion thread to avoid duplicate picks. If someone could please help out in that regard, I would greatly appreciate it.
I do want to apologize for the haphazardness of getting this league together. It was on me to do so and I should have started these details 3 weeks ago. This has been especially hard on our new managers, and I took for granted that most of the time G20 is populated by those who frequent this board and have seen how we typically run drafts --- so this was really unfair to Meatwads, and for that I apologize.
I have successfully processed league keepers. I entered nothing into the "offline draft" so that all of the non-keepers would be made free agents so we could see them in going through ESPN and pick them up ourselves as we did last year and we do in G20 Baseball. But so far I am not finding a way to take everyone off of waivers. So, for now, check your ESPN list and this draft thread to make sure there are no duplicate picks until I get the Kafenatid Draft up.
So, let's get moving, for now with no official clock. Please email the next three managers so that they know they are/will be up. Everyone please check your ESPN page to make sure it has the correct email address for you (cough......bmd).

Meatwads: I haven't started a clock, but historically we have a 4 hour clock...but that is mainly to figure out via email that you are up. We are expected to move fairly quickly. We keep a cumulative clock...if a manager abuses their clock too much, their turn can get skipped.
Take a little time for research, but I'd like to see you pick within an hour of the last pick.

2.10 Mike Dunleavy, G/F, Ind Yeah, he's coming off a lousy year, has a reputation of questionable health, is stuck in a logjam of wings on the Pacers, is being underutilized by the ball-dominating Collison, and may well get traded for his expiring contract. However, the Pacers are going to need his skills to have a chance to win games (they are going to be BAD this year), Granger will be playing a good share of PF minutes this year which will open up minutes @ SF/SG, he is moving well and seems truly healthy finally, he managed 39 minutes in his last game with a nice line, has the support of the coach who has gone to the media to basically demand more touches in the offense, and is in a contract year. I think at player #150 in our draft, basically, he is going to have nice value this year, or at least that's my hope. Best of all, he wears the blue and gold :-)

I'll just use Bleacher Report's analysis for this one...only he and DJ Augustin were left as far as sleepers were concerned:
A change of scenery is exactly what Wright needed to capitalize on his fantasy potential.
After being buried on Miami's bench and seeing only sporadic playing time since coming straight out of high school, Wright will now be the starting small forward for the new-look Golden State Warriors.
A defensive specialist, Wright has always been an underappreciated source of steals and blocks, but now with increased playing time stands to reward owners in categories like pts, three pointers, and free throw percentage as well.
While he may not receive the playing time that owners might immediately hope for, it shouldn't be long before he separates himself even further from his competition (Reggie Williams, Vlad Radmanovic).

Until Species gets a chance to fix it, bmd can just post his pick here and the draft can progress. If any one wants the player you selected when they come up, they would also have to post that here. Hopefully people will check this thread before picking until kafenatid gets corrected in the event others want to draft the player bmd selects, since that player will still show as available on kafenatid. Seems there must be another error in the draft somewhere...otherwise you would have more picks than bmd. If Species is still sick, maybe someone has KKB's email and an ask him to step in and help.

Dorell Wright has been properly entered at 8.13. That's just a display problem. Click on the draft grid and you can see him properly listed.
Pick 8.20 belonged to bmd, not Peter N. Per post 91, bmd selected Jarrett Jack. Apparently, a pick trade was not entered properly, or else was not processed properly. We'll need Species to fix that one.

I wasn't sure I wanted to pick from my phone without my draft materials and I know I passed over some available starters for an oft-injured veteran backup, but for some reason he just felt like a good gamble this year. Plus, I can always trade him to Mike D later.

I am Very Sorry I had been logging in to Kafe for a day and never got the chance to set up the que due to not being able to access the draft. I am doing so now and will designate a picker. I had full intentions doing this from the beginning....must have been some glitches and I never got logged back in to set the que up.

Ugh, wish it would've got around to one of my 4th round picks. I'm off to a wedding and probably won't be able to check into kafenatid. I've set a queue that can used on both of my last 2 picks in the 4th round. Hopefully that'll keep things rolling...
Can someone post who I got from my queue in this thread? My phone doesn't work with kafenatid but I can browse this thread. Thx.

RSF---I have 5 designated pickers so you don't have to sit by the computer just for me. Lol. I had a huge queue in this league since I was gone almost all day, and I really thought things would be further along.

Not sure what time it is where yr is, but if he isn't up working on his pick and didn't leave a queue, he is going to time out.
I thought we would be farther along as well. I'm glad folks are pretty relaxed about it and no one is crabbing at each other, but it's starting to look like we might not be done in time. Not sure if all undrafted players will go back on waivers for one waiver cycle or not. Seems Kafenatid used to have a projected draft completion time but I'm not seeing that now. Maybe I imagined that. Seems we used to be able to see how long each player was using per pick as well - in case it's one or two guys using lots of clock or something. I guess with 20 guys....

I got in late last night. In time to make some DP picks for a few and went through my queue and totally re-did it. Knocked a lot out. Added several. But it's all for naught though as I ended up switching my #1 in q back to #1 before I went to bed.
A huge thanks to CJ for working with me and actually doing so much for me. Talking with him, he seems to really know what is going on and should def. have the next spot that opens up. If someone needs a co-owner or help, you could really help yourself with him.

RSF - It's always been 12.
To League - I have temporarily disabled the ability to add players to your league, until we can figure out how to set the waiver order. I'll let you know when it has been re-activated.
I have not found a way to put all players back onto waivers, so I imagine it will be a free for all to get that hot free agent!

We're good to go. I had to scratch everything we did, and re-enter all the players again. Didn't take too long thanks to the efficiency of kafenatid.
All players are on waivers. Waiver order has been set.
Please check your rosters for accuracy, and you will need to re-set your lineups.
