When I wake up (mountain time) and have my coffee I will turn on the clock. Figure 10AM EST or so.
If we get this order selection done by Wednesday, I will likely turn the draft on Wednesday so you can load queues. Its up to GO whether we actually start early. There will be no issu8e if someone decides to wait til Friday to make a choice, but I do expect that GO wont drag his feet once Friday morning rolls around.
It will be a four hour clock come Saturday morning. NOBODY should have lacked ample time to load up a queue for their first pick by then.
Pace should be about 2 rounds/day. If we fall too far behind, I may adjust the 4 hour clock.
Clock pause will be midnight to 8 AM EST daily.

I have started the draft. If you find an issue with your picks let me know ASAP.
Again, there is no need to make a pick until Friday, but it is not prohibited. I've opened it to allow people to set queues. So no whining that someone is not making their pick please. If someone eats up the entire day on Friday, that's worthy of comment though.
Remember, that once you set a queue, you have to set it to actually pick for you, if you are going to be away from keyboard. Setting a queue alone does not automatically use the queue to make your pick unless you set it to do so.
Saturday morning around 10 AM EST I will start a 4 hour clock.

Reminder -- Draftime has a pre-rank import where you can load in like 200 names. Not like the old days of adding them manually.

I'm sure this relates to getting some clarity around Harden's situation. There aren't any other question marks out there relative to the top few options.
Realistically, he's not likely to sit out and pass on his current contract $$. He'll put up monster numbers wherever he plays. If you're not comfortable with the uncertainty, pick someone else. There are a couple other good players out there. :-)

To be clear, the purpose of no clock is NOT to delay your pick with inadequate info, its to allow everyone time to get on board.
Harden is a head case, don't waste a first overall on him. Let him fall to 10th if you ask me.

I agree with GO as there does not seem to be an real need to start before FRiday as once going it goes quickly. I am also not ready to start yet. It also would be nice to do some research and see some preseaaon play or read about team camps and final free agent signings. The season openers is still a long ways away.

We're moving at a pretty fast clip. I have loaded your picks into Yahoo through 3.10 (minus Wonderboy's skipped 3.05). That's as far as I am planning to get tonight.
Check you players on your rosters from time to time to make sure I havent made a mistake. I'll let you know when I have updated.
Loading them as the draft progresses helps me spread out the workload. It also takes the loaded players out of the player list at ESPN. Useful for making your picks, assuming I havent made a mistake that nbody pointed out to me.

Now that the RIHC draft has finished, I invite each of the participants to share any reactions that they have. Feel free to say as much or as little as you wish. As a guide, you might consider the following questions:
1) Did you have a specific strategy going in? Did it go as expected?
2) What surprised you?
3) How did your approach change as things unfolded?
4) If you had to do it over, what would you do differently?
5) Your best and worst pick, in retrospect.
6) The 2 or 3 picks by other managers that you thought were especially good steals.
7) 2 or 3 players that were selected higher than you had expected.
8) If you had to trade your own team for one other owner's team in the league, whose would you want it to be?
