Who's everyone got this year? I have Noble Causeway... but I also picked it out of a hat so I can't be too disappointed.
Bellamy Road owned by Steinbrenner the early favorite at 5-2. Don't wanna overpay and then be disappointed when he underperforms (coughyankeescough)...

OK, I like Afleet Alex to win it all. If the odds are right. If he gets hammered, might just do an exacta or stay away.
Not sure if you still have the issue of East Coast and West Coast odds, or if it is all tied together.
If so, will get better odds on Afleet Alex from an East Coast track than West.
If you want a longshot, don't over-look Wilko or Noble Cause.
Some info on early betting.
"In Friday's preliminary betting on the Kentucky Derby, Afleet Alex was left as the 7-2 favorite, followed by Bellamy Road, 9-2; Bandini, 5-1; High Fly, 7-1; and Noble Causeway, 11-1.
Other odds: Sun King, 15-1; Don't Get Mad, 19-1; Wilko and High Limit, 22-1; Coin Silver 25-1; Greeley's Galaxy, 26-1; Greater Good, 35-1; Flower Alley, 36-1; Going Wild and Buzzards Bay, 43-1; Sort it Out, 45-1; Giacomo, 53-1; Closing Argument, 66-1; and Spanish Chestnut, 75-1.
A total of $383,000 a small portion of the eventual total win pool, was bet."
Not sure if these are nation wide numbers or just West Coast.
Just my thoughts.

TVG is not showing anything yet on early betting. Might just be the way they work.

Saw some coverage this morning and all the celebrities were picking Wilko.
Bellamy Road looks like a good bet, but I saw a feature on Afleet Alex, and all AA's winnings go to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation which goes to medical research. It's an interest story and a good cause, so I'll be cheering for Alex.

Here is the inside key for Wilco. Corey Nakatani does not ride for his father-in-law (Wallace Dollase)or brother-in-law (Craig Dollase) that often. So, when he does, it is usually a pretty good indication that the horse might out perform what everybody thinks.
Wouldn't put a ton on him, but might be worth a $10 or $20 W/P/S bet if the odds stay where they are.

Looked it over briefly, came up with a couple Exactas & Trifectas that I placed.
Exacta box- Noble Causeway, High Fly, Afleet Alex
Exacta- Noble Causeway, High Fly, Bellamy Road over Noble Causeway, High Fly, Bellamy Road, Don’t Get Mad
$2 Win- Noble Causeway, High Fly, Afleet Alex, Bellamy Road, Don’t Get Mad
$1 Trifecta- 4/12/16+17, 16/4+12/4+12+17, 12/4/16+17
I’m not expecting to hit anything, but got in a little action. :)
