Many people have mentioned in the past that they didn't really appreciate the scoring nuances until they went though it once, round by round. As you track your progress, seeing what worked well and what didn't - and as you see what others did that made more sense - the scoring format often becomes more intuitive.

To give you a chance at a Mulligan, and to give latecomers a chance to try this out, I've enabled the contest program to store new picks - but only for those entries which do not already have a set of picks included in the standings. If you are already in the contest with a valid set of picks, then your picks are still frozen. Anyone who didn't get around to it, however, can still submit a set of picks. They won't be included in the listed standings, but you can still track your score using the "My Score" link, just to see how that entry would have fared.

You can also create a new registration, and submit a set of picks. Again, these late entries will be ignored for all official contest purposes, but you can at least let the system do your "what if" scorekeeping for you.
