The site has been launched for 2013: RotoGuru Market Madness.
2013 bracket data will be processed late Sunday night and probably not released until the wee hours of Monday morning. Until then, last year's bracket data is still in place, and contest scoring (the "My Score" link) still reflects 2012 game results. |

There are 292 entrants this year (down about 10% from last year.)
I've posted a sortable summary of the unit selections. Click on any linked column heading to sort by that column. A few quick observations- Favorite shorts are Gonzaga, Big 12, Marquette, Kansas, and Duke.
- Favorite longs are the Big 10, Ohio State, Florida, Louisville, and the #3 seed basket.
- Net longs (longs minus shorts) are led by Wisconsin, Florida, the Big 10, Louisville, and Pitt.
- Net shorts looks pretty much like the gross shorts.
- Most active units (long or short) are Gonzaga, Big 10, Big 12, Ohio State, and Kansas.
Florida Gulf Coast and Western Ky. were both completely ignored.

Guru,
Shouldn't Ole Miss (12) be scored a "0" for a long team in the 2nd rd instead of a "-13"?

Ole Miss, a 12 was a favorite over La Salle, a 13 seed. So when they lost, it was actually an upset with corresponding penalty.
