In case you guys didn't see the other message in the hoops forum, I was thinking of setting up a gurupie records web page. It would contain individual records, team records, and other stuff that can easily be kept track of and verified. I think we should list here some possible gurupie records. |

My best team record is 23-1 with my lg 1 team the Youngstown Saboteurs. I've also had 2 teams reach the FF(lg 1 team and lg 14 team).
I know Chris had a POY in lg 1 a long while ago named Greg Detherage.

What's the most points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, etc. that a gurupie has had in a game?
For me, to the best of my knoledge..
Points: 34, Amos Oswald (L4, last season)
Rebounds: 15, Dan Shipley (L2, last season)
Assists: 12, Phil O'Connel (L6 this season), Quinn Hockenbury (L2, twice this season)
Steals: 6, Dan Shipley (L2, last season)
Blocks: 9, Dan Shipley (L2, two seasons ago)
Perhaps we could just start from now, and have somebody in charge of each league. I'd could could help out with L2, 3, 4, 6, and/or 7.

Well, Dustin Dewitt of Twarpy's Topeka Maple Leafs is tied for 9th in lg 1 with a 44-point game, so we can start from there and look up.
Roy Brennan of my Hot Spring Wheatfarmers has 13 assists last year in lg 1. (Roy was only a +2).
Twarpy's Kaleb Whobrey, a mutant, has the League 4 record of 24 boards.
Just a few stats, not systematic.

Bmd I like the idea a lot, I'd be willing to help set up the webpage. Just curious are we going to count team records or just individual player records. Also are we doing single season bests, single game bests, career bests etc.

New Points record for me set last night by Benjamin Fischer (Corpus Christi, Lg 17) with 48 pts on 18-27 shooting (3-4 3's). He came within 1 pt of the Lg 17 record of 49 held by KM's Don Rutledge.
