Subject: Free Agency Signings

We are now in the free agency period for our league. I was wondering when the free agents accept the bids made on them. Is it after the end of the free agency period (i.e the third day) ? If so, then I assume that it is better to wait until the third day of free agency before making any bids to avoid early bidding wars. Any advice on signing free agents would be appreciated. Thanks. |

it seems that a third of players sign each day... meaning that the one remaining on the 3rd day tend to go for pretty high prices... I know A-Rod got 50 mil for 2 years in our league during FA...

I am not sure on the exact percentage of players but TinCup is correct on the ML free agents. The minor league free agents will not sign until the 3rd day so your better off waiting until the last day to place a bid on them.
