Subject: Pitcher Stamina Rankings

Does anyone know approximately how the stamina rankings for pitchers translate to how many innings they can pitch before they get tired? For instance, a good starter might have a stamina of 450+ and be able to go 8+ innings and be fine. It does not seem, however, as if a reliever with a 225 can go half of what the starter could. At what point can a relief pitcher be nothing but a closer or short-relief/set-up? Does anyone knows if these numbers are actually proportional in any way to the number of innings a pitcher can pitch. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know much about stamina but I do know that my two best starters last year both had 318 for stamina and usually went about 6 innings... I have a few starters this season that are in the 450+ stamina range and I think they'll got 7-8, last 'week' (the first of our new season) one of these guys went 8... that's all I really know, hopefully JS or RS will come by and enlighten us... they are the original Grand Slam Gurupies...
