EA...seems that my bailing out is the trigger point for resumption of significant price rise...but while I was not bidding..others were...
"next Time" some sort of ground rules should be agreed upon early enough to obtain 100% participation...otherwise it's the old "You snooze, You lose" syndrome... Golly, I need some of that AA and AAA talent. I only have 4 players between A and MLR. And average age of my MLR is gotta be 30+ and the draft looks really weak and yada...yada...yada | |||||

I decided not to bid on Monroe anymore because Chaik showed me how to see if I was the high bidder. I was using his suggestion, grabbing some 5000$ stragglers, I check the e-mail and wham, 2 outbids and it simmed. Riggs and Mitchell. That's bogus, but I can't be too disappointed. This system is simply awful though. How hard would it be to have proxy bidding? | |||||

I don't care how many posts there are. What gets me is the lack of organization. If your going to take on a job like that you have to make sure everyone knows about it and set out the rules before you start. And you know what, Eat Acid, 90% of the Rotogurupies (including you) might as well be called Rotosnobs. Look man, in my opinion I am the farthest thing from a snob. I started the thread to bring people to this league and I opened it up to everyone in the community. If you don't like the way things are done in this league, you have two options. Suggest ideas for the way you would like to see them improved, or don't let the door hit you on the a$$ when you leave. I have 5 gurupies that would love your team.
As far as the northern league bidding debacle goes, the problem took everybody somewhat by surprise. Sorry if things didn't go well for everyone, but I think the main fault lies with the game rather than us. | |||||

Wow, 129 posts. I do see one thread by P2 that only had 125 posts. That was chapter 3 of season 9. What did we have 700-800 posts that season. What was the deal with the NL bidding? I read through it but didn't see what the problem was. Probably the best idea was to drop the idea that B3 was ever as active as P2 is and has been. No league has been near as active as we are. When I say that, I mean communicating and retaining ownership. | |||||
