I just joined GSB, and read the help files they provide. I think I get the jist of things but still have a few questions:

I see where my projected salary is, but where can I find the projected Gate/Merchendise sales?

Also I have a team with only 6 guys in A about 18 in AA about 20 in AAA and 23 in MLB....
How on Earth am I going to fill out my clubs? Entirely Northern League?

Lastly: How do I move guys from A to AA, etc? My league is currently in Post-Season so maybe I dont have the option of moving players amongst my rosters yet?

1) you don't know. Gate depends on your record and the team you play.

2) through the draft, you don't need to fill it, and may be better off so you can move players more freely. my rosters are almost full, and am handcuffed.

3) no movement in postseason. in regular season you can go to moves, and through the depth charts through each position move them.

Merchandise is based on ad clicks. But every team receives the same amount of merchandising revenue, so it's all a wash.

Glad you finally picked up a team KM, now you won't be out of the loop in the chat room ;-)

Chris, thats part of the reason :), allthough the prospect of controlling my own desitny in GSB is a reaction to the feeling of helplessness in SW.

So...my projected salary is 56 mil. How can I tell what I'll bring in revenue? Could it be Expos-like or might it be above 50 mil? This is kinda crucial.

KM...come into the chat room if you read this.

You make $2M a day in base salary, then you make $1M a week(actual week) in merchandising. Gate revenue depends on your record and your opponents record. If you are both .500 eams and are at home, you will make $2M. The road team makes 10% of what the home team gets, thus $200K. I've seen as much as $5.68M at the box, and I know it gets higher than that. If you reasonably expect to compete, i think a payroll of $55-65 is safe and you can probably get even at $70M if you make the playoffs every year. These are just guidelines...
