Subject: I2 Season 3 Posted by: Matt G - [3452159] Thu, Aug 03, 12:00 I know it is only the first day of FA signings but i figured we could discuss some ideals here. So far in the market i do not see anyone who is worth it, David Ortiz may be worth a look but I already have an all-star callibre player at 1b in Nick Johnson, plus his second Pos is OF and I have tons of OF's. My main needs are SP/RP/2b and SS. I have only 1 decent pitcher in Chris Carpenter but his 10-2 2.97 ERA season may have been a fluke. My relievers are not playing up to potential either. Seanez was a bust when i signed him and Matt Anderson is not worth is Tag either. the only one playing well is Jacquez who I acquired last year. 13 Saves and a 3.87 ERA is not that good. I am thinking we may see a re-peat as far as the general standings go, Me and the indians will battle in the AL East, hopefully I will win with having my entire team together with Monahan and Co. I'm taking a long look at Neifi Perez, as I only have one middle infielder (Lou Collier) right now. I'm also looking to move either Kevin Appier or Sean Bergman for prospects or infielders. Chaik- ChiSox | |||||
