What happens when you go bankrupt. I am almost sure to lose all my money in one league if I dont make the playoffs. If I lose my team I will cut the high price players , or if I just have to rebuild I will just attack the Northern League. |

nope, you don't lose your team. the computer just cuts your highest salary, then your next highest and so on, until you start making money.
at least that's the way i understand it.

When I joined for the first team I was left with a team that had a weekly salary of 4 million and was in the middle of a 24 game road trip. I had a 3 million dollar balance. I also had Griffey signed. 2 weeks later Griffey was placed on waivers and I recieved 10 million I believe. So if you are heading to bankruptcy and you can't avoid it, it is probably best to let it hit since at least you get some money out of it, even though you have to release your best player.

The way you put it makes it sound like you will be ok this year but next year you will go bankrupt since playoff money will really only help for next year since you don't pay salaries during the postseason. If you don't make the playoffs the best time to cut players is during the signing period since if they clear waivers then you don't get hit for the rest of their salary.
