Subject: R2 Season 3 Posted by: Dev - [67221217] Tue, Aug 15, 13:59 Well talk has certainly died down but the competition and effort hasn't. There was a full out war over a bunch of Northerners the other day. I had to leave so I ended up losing. I did put up a fight though, it got to the point where I would up a bid check my mail and it was already reupped. Congrats to BPG who got the bulk of those Northerners. As for the standings, the NL West is looking very strong. We don't have a single team under .500. My Astros are second best in the NL and are still 3 games out of first. BPG and 30something are right on my tail and I don't think my lead on them will hold. Our division race should be good near the end. I end up with a series against BPG's Padres and a series against Milo's unstoppable Dodgers. Should be fun. The AL East looks pretty good also Kyle's Indians and the Yanks are tied for first at 9-3 while JKaye's Orioles are only a game back. What happened Jaysuade? His BoSox are in the basement(A place I know well) at 3-9. I wish they had a Wildcard, but with smaller division sizes I guess the Commish thought it would be to easy to get into the playoffs. My team has plenty of dough, How are other teams in the division doing as far as finances go? I am looking for another starter so if you have one you would be willing to trade please e-mail me. I will give up prospects. | ||||||

I got lucky with those northern leaguers. If the sim had run 5 minutes earlier or later I might have ended up with none. I hope they change the bidding process for northern leaguers soon because I won't have that many days when I can sit there and keep topping bids. As for finances, I'm starting to sweat it a little. I'll make it through this season but I wouldn't mind trading Mark Hutchings, who is buried in my bullpen. If anyone wants a good reliever make me an offer. | |||||

I pretty much gave up after midnight and went to drink with my buddies.
