0 Subject: How Does Bankruptcy Work?

Has anybody seen a bankruptcy in their league? I can't figure out how it works.

Manager Guide says star players are sold off to balance your books, and it's been said on the Message Board that players with the highest total contract gets sold off first. Problem is, in my league, the highest bid on these overpaid stars, if their contract comes with them, is likely to be zero. People I'm thinking of have been put on waivers in my league and no one (except presumably, their owner) has bid on them.

Also how does the computer-run sale work? Are players just listed as free agents for anyone to bid on, or does something different happen?

The highest contract players are put on the waiver wire. The team loses a player every week until the team gets a positive balance(by bid money and/or the payroll gets so low that the team makes money).
