I am 1st in my division and I have the 2nd best record in the league. I expect to do even better once the new SIM goes into effect as my pitchers should pitch better then. | |||||

To the Dodgers that picked him up, when I won the WS and had all this money and started building up my team like it seems you are doing. It backfires, I am almost out of money, my players are old and I am having trouble rebuilding, but on the plus side I am looking to win the AL West for the 3rd straight year and have to win 4/8 to win 40 games for the 3rd straight year. I am pretty successful but it comes at a hefty price. hopefully I make some money in the playoffs to get some YOUNG CHEAP talent that won't eat my salary, I have a feeling half of my team will retire this year.... Heres to the playoffs. | |||||

Well, here's hoping I can escape the dastardly Giants one more time this season. It seems by looking at that team that it's much better than mine, especially their hitting, yet I won the first division over them by 1 game and won the second time with a 1 game playoff win over the Giants. We don't like them Giants too much! heheheh Hey Matt G, I was a bit surprised to see Bohanon on the waiver wire but I had to nab him up to keep him from the Giants. I'm not really loading up because my payroll now is still manageable at about $57 million with still a pretty good sum in the bank. I'm fortunate to have some pretty good bargains on my team and some prospects who've played well for me though they'll be in for the big $ pretty soon. I'm still lookin to spank them hated Royals in the Series so hopefully the Giants will cooperate! | |||||

Well it looks like the Dodgers will be sitting out these playoffs. It's darn hard to win if you don't score a stinkin run! lol Congrats to the Giants and good luck to all the playoff teams as well. I will be BACK! | |||||

I wasn't watching my payroll and thought I had one more week till I had to unload some RV to keep Brian. My team has been doing ok without him. The AL just ahs so many hard hitting teams that pitching isn't a factor, look at my 4.17 ERA it is tops in the league. Mark Clark put up another stellar year, maybe not Cy Young cause Erikson is solid, we'll see what happens in the playoffs. I may have to start rebuilding after this year, depends on if I get another WS win. Thus far it looks promising. | |||||

I am 11-5 VS all the playoff teams. 4-4 vs the indians and 7-1 Vs the Dodgers and Braves. the only loss is from the braves. i thought that was impressive. Look for a 7 game series in the AL but the WS will go no more than 5 no matter who represents. | |||||
