However when I got back yesterday I noticed the horrid start the defending WS champs are off to. What the hell is going on? same team as last year plus Bernie Williams and minus Mickey Lopez, which I think makes my team better. I don't understand this sim sometimes. Hopefully I can rebound and challenge again. | |||||

I would say I'm sorry, FC, but after the smack you talked in the league message board, you deserved it. ;) Really, it has been a lot of fun going back and forth with you. I think that I got dealt a solid team, and I have made some moves that have paid dividends as well. I am going to lose Mattern to FA, as he wouldn't sign. However, no great loss, as I have a Mattern clone at AAA ready to go (Burnham). My pitching is solid for a few year to come, and I have DeHart and Hitchcock coming up through the ranks nicely. We should be sparring for a while yet, FC, as I don't see the Cards or Braves really improving that much. Anyway, thanks for the well-wishes in the NLCS and (hopefully) beyond. I sincerely hope I can get past the NLCS this year. The last two years have been extremely frustrating. Later. LTA | |||||

LTA, Enjoy your title reign while it lasts, cuz I'm going to come at you hard this season. Not really, but I thought I'd try to scare you. My hitting is very weak. I'm trying to make some moves but my farm system is not that good. This might be my first losing season. Hopefully I can make some good moves and make the NL East as competitive as it once was. | |||||
