here's the exact message... I'm assuming this means Sunday nights games will be with the new sim... Subject: New Sim From: Commish Date: 9/12/00 7:29:43 AM The new simulator will be put into all the leagues this weekend. It has been discussed for so long that I think no one who has been around a while will be caught off guard. And for the newer people, it will be easier to adjust their strategies. The main fix is to the HR rating. Guys with high HR ratings will now hit more homeruns. Also, the highest rated pitchers will be more likely to be the top pitchers statistically. There have been some other fixes. Players can go 1st - 3rd on a single. The win/save situation that occurs when the visiting team takes the lead in the top of the 9th has been fixed. Since I currently don't have a way to post to all message boards at once, I'd appreciate it if someone from each league would pass this info on to the rest of their league. | |||||
