We are trying to move our pitchers(trade negotiations will start going on tonight for those of you that have shown interest), and this is the biggest plug for them. Bohanon, Norton, and Seaman will all be traded. These were their lines tonight, as we swept the Giants ebhind our 0.75ERA pitching:

Bohanon: 8ip, 6h, 0er, 0bb, 10k
Norton: 8ip, 3h, 0er, 0bb, 9k
Seaman: 7ip, 1h, 0er, 2bb, 6k

That is ficking unreal!! A combined line of:

23ip, 10h, 0er, 2bb, 25k

If only J weren't in our division, we would be guaranteed a playoff spot. Too bad :(

Not to put anything against that accomplishment but you were playing the Giants who arent exactly trying to win. I mean their team I think just about anyone could beat. Hey your ahead of J already maybe his team will have some more injuries and you could pull it out:)

*feels like the silent partner of J* @#;+)

It looks like J and I will have to be working on repairing the damage that one loss did to our team. Ahh well, 3-1 isn't bad.

I am three and one also. Schedule plays a big part of your record right now, its to early to tell now. A mediocre team could sweep an awful team easily and a very good team could be swept by the Mets easily.

Chris, I'd be interested in joining the discussions. I am the Rangers.

Damn! Early sim cost me, because I didn't set my lineup at all, argh!

Anyhow, Tom Glavine is available for trade, for 250 K

I have 31 guys in AA and 28 in Triple A. Don't want to pay for that anymore, so take your pick of 5 you want and I'll look at the offers and pull the triggers.

Cards, when will you decide on the Seaman/Norton/Bohanon trades?

To make matters worse, Manny Ramirez gets "benched" and loses 20 points in HRs and GAP and is down to 480 now. Looks like I should have fixed my team yesterday just in case!

It looks like the Mets finally found their form. Now the best team in the league. I am in a tie with the Yanks. I think that we will probably go down to the wire.

My pitchers need to wake up! I have an excellent pitching staff. My team era is awful though. They need to find a groove soon or I am in trouble.

Also I plan on dealing the Mets their first losing series in the AGL tonight. Would somebody beat the Yanks for me?

Same here, I'll try to split with the Yankees for you, but judging by my first three weeks, it doesn't look likely.

Woohoo! I took 3 of 4 from the Mets!! And 3-4 from the Red Sox! Unfortunately the Yankees have won 10 in a row and I am 2 back. At least there is still lots of time.

This is insane, Cards lead by a game. Yes, Norton and Bohanon are still available. There are 3 things we are looking for in any trade:

- stud SP prospects.

- 4-4 hitter prospects

- young high AVG, high HR MLBers.

If we don't get any of these types of players, these 2 aren't going anywhere. We aren't absolutely desperate to move these 2(as evidenced by our standing), but would prefer to make a deal by the deadline. If you are willing to give up players that meet the pervious criteria, then let us know and we will swing a deal.

Tom Glavine, Dan Ramirez, Manny Ramirez, Magglio Ordonez and Jose Nieves are all available in a nice package for strictly cash.

The bidding starts at 250 K. For such a small sum of cash, you can have all 5.

Chris, 1-2, 1-0, 3-2 before Glavine gets shelled for me. If I had lost that first game in extra innings, I would really be pi$$ed. Rubio has his best game of the year, and Norton just goes and one-hits our team. Bergman finally gets his act in gear, and we lose 3-2. Pretty much sums up my 6-14 start to the season.

Not done my rant yet... My closer hasn't even seen action at all this year! In the National League, it is evident that good pitching beats good hitting or something like that, because how can you explain my .245 average being THIRD in the league?

I'm hitting that lovely thing called the Final Week of the Term, which means only one thing...Finals Week is looming ahead for me. I have one more week of classes and normal "tests", and then I have 3 days of finals. Sometimes I hate trimesters...

Just a heads up. The draft is tonight, hopefully you guys all have your rankings ready to go, I know we don't.

BTW, Bohanon and Norton are still on the blocks, we've been holding off on trading them because we are actually in a race with the mets but if the right deal comes along we will deal them in a second.

I'm not sure who was next on the list, but due to some changes in my work schedule I need to relinquish the White Sox. Let me know if someone is interested-I'll do the best I can until someone steps up. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes the rest of the league.

Well final weeks guys and I'm kinda diappointed that no one is posting...J's team isn't even in first in his division which is very interesting the Cards might pull a huge upset.

I was in first at one point this year now I am like um... 12 back or something. Not too bad for a team with absoluetly no talent from top to bottom.

Ho-hum another sweep, another 3 blown saves by my bullpen. I'm just going to be playing this week to spoil the Cardinals shot of making the playoffs.

Next year, maybe I can get some pitching to actual perform for me.

I just saw GoSpos30's post, and was wondering if TIMING is around anywhere to take over the team. If he isn't, then the team will now go to Purple Pimp because YR doesn't deserve to get another GSB team. I have been extremely busy in the last 2 weeks, and that's why I haven't really been around that much, if at all in the other forums.

WOW! My starting staff pitched phenomenal against the Cards, and a sweep would have occured had my bullpen held them in check in game 1. Let's see if a miracle is in order from the Cards to sweep the Mets and get into the playoffs.

SanFran, I'm willing to bet, everyone did the sim is just a little screwy.

Congrats to J and Staci who to no one's surprise won the NL East. We gave it our best shot towards the end but couldn't muster up enough.

It's unfortunate that the only team that I played well all season long was the Cardinals. Otherwise, they should have made the playoffs, stunning the Mets.

Since the season has been completed, how about we get some awards going? Anyone up for this task?

Well I survived the first 4 games against Dev all were so close, despite my bullpen seemingly falling apart every game, I'm glad to be up 3-1 and can allocate my pitching all into 3 games:). Interesting in the AL J and Eustacio's Mets were anything but what they should be as the first game was evident losing 16-2 when you have Cy Young Award Nominee Scott Downs as the pitcher was very interesting. Good Luck to the Stros they might be able to pull it off!

I can't believe I swept J's Mets I mean what happened? Every game was close and my guys finally came through, I don't know what to think I mean we dont even get any money for games 5-7 because of this:) Anyways looks like we still have to wait an extra day to sign free agents... I have the ability to lose 4 or so of my players to free agency but Im happy to win it the first year.

congrats Twarpy, but, at least when we lose, call em staci's Mets!!!!!

We took Todd's theory of going for bettr draft pick ;)

Just kidding, our team played lackluster all year long and it never did end, now they'll all retire and die. Quickly I hope.

Oh, and we do still get paid for gms 5-7 ;)
