I think my team is finally ready to compete. In the AL it seems that my competition will be the Red Sox. They do seem do be pretty strong.I'm sure everyone in the AL West will be happy to know that the Royals will not win the divison this season !!! Yeah Baby

Hey WiddleAvi

I don't know how you stack up with me [Royals] but the Redsox are unbeatable. I thot driving them to seven games in the playoffs was a moral victory. Take a look at the BA's that guy has accumulated. It's unreal. He must have been one of the guys who ripped off the new Atlanta owner a while back is all I can figure. My batters almost hold their own with him but his pitching is in a whole other league than mine.

How do you think I feel? Being in the AL east I get the (mis)pleasure of facing the Redsox twice a year. Just got swept by him today. If anybody wants somebody from my team just let me know. I'm 1-7 already and I'm hanging it up for the year. Time to rebuild now. BTW I don't know where the hell the guy gets the money to pay those players. He's had that calibur of a team for several years now.

And he picked up alot of nortnern leaguers yesterday. I checked....he spent 14 million for Northern Leaguers this year !!! That goes with his approx 80 million a year payroll !!! It's a conspiracy I tell you!!!

I wouldn't say the Red Sox are totally unbeatable. As I played him in the World series and won. But I do agree he has a very tough team and made all the tougher with his acquisitions yesterday.

OK, since everyone is talking about me i thought i should throw in my 2 cents. i just won the world series for the first time... The first time!
and every year i have made the world series so thats where i get my mony from(except the first), and i have tried very hard to accumulate the best hitters, and pitchers cause i new the new sim would be pitcher heavey. Believe me i have been trying to get my team to be just right for the longest time, and its been good so far, but i am by no means unbeatabul, In fact my rangers team in league f3, has all nine hitters over 470 for batting average and i havnt won with them yet either, also if anyone was wondering if i am running a little low on cash,(i am) but every home game i play, i more than make my mony's worth. i hope i can keep my dynasty together but it gets harder, and harder... good luck to all

An too think I traded Hernandez (I see he is doing good for you) and Hunter to you !!!! I guess when you run out of money or players leaving I will be all the more stronger with my farm system. I still hope to give you a run for your money. I have a pretty good pitching staff and decent hitting.

Here is a link to the League's web site. Team reports are added as I receive them. A big thanks to Adrian from the Padres for putting this together !!! Hopefully this should make our league more competitive

This thread seems awefully quiet !! Anyway this league seems very competitve. with a few teams doing just horrible and the rest all competing for A division title. The Red Sox don't seem to unbeatable anymore !! They lost 3-1 to the WhiteSox split a series with me Lost 3-1 to the Orioles and split with the Padres. So the Numbers seem like they have the best team in baseball but when they play good teams they havn't been as dominating. My team is the opposite. When I play the really horrible teams mt team seems to stoop to their level of play. Right now I am tied for the lead with the White Sox in our division so I am excited. But we still have alot of baseball to play and I close the season with the White Sox and Red Sox one after another so I better get some wins now against some of the easier teams. On a side note it seems like quite a few teams didn't do their draft cause I signed 9 players which I think is quite high. Of course alot of them won't ever make it but they all have a chance. How did everyone else do ??

I agree with you about the Red Sox. I was dreading last night's series, with the inconsitency in my pitching and my unproductive hitters, I thought it could very well get ugly and drop all four. But as I said in my blurb this morning I should have taken 3-4 from them.
I was pretty happy with my draft. I was one of the very last teams to draft and I signed all but 2 players, but like you said most are not MLB caliber.
Also, anybody that is interested Sean Bergman is still available and the trade deadline is tomorrow.
Check out the site everyone, if you haven't already.
