I am thinking about putting together a league website if there is any interest. I suggest people check out the V2 website. They did a great job. League V2 Website. A few more gurupies in the division would be nice. I am losing Jason Shiell this offseason which really hurts. He was having an amazing season but wouldn't resign. I didn't want to hurt my chances by getting someone that isn't pitching as well this year but I ended up missing the playoffs anyway. I hope I can resign him. BTW, Although it is an unwritten rule that many GSB vets follow, I think we should ban Boomerang trades. For example, This season Jason Shiell wouldn't resign with me. I wanted to keep him so I didn't deal him. I could have traded him to another team who would have shipped him right back. I would have thrown in a little dough as a thank you. Shiell would have then resigned with me and I could have kept him. I really don't like when players do that so I didn't. I think those types of deals should be banned because they further restrict guys from reaching FA. Already the FA market is usually fairly weak and doesn't need to be weakened anymore. | |||||

It's not as fancy as V2's, but if you want to check it out, here is the address: www.geocities.com/kylelinden I agree with the ban on boomerang trades. As expected I had a terrible season after trading most of my good players for prospects. I narrowly avoided having the worst record in the league. Anyone interested in doing awards for this season? I will trade Brian Hunter and Arnie Chavera for a 3B or a pitcher if anyone is interested. Chavera has an AVG rating of 456 and other categories in 300's (IIRC) and Hunter has 465 AVG 416 HR and about 440 GAP. E-Mail me in game if your interested. At the bottom there is a link to a bunch of Polls for ROY, MVP and Cy Young. If you send me nominees I'll add them to the polls. I'll add all-time records if you want. I don't have any info from the first four seasons though. They can be post-season 4 records though. For now just send team reports or anything else you want to submit to my in game e-mail. Stick- You can do whatever you feel like. On the left side are a bunch of possible reports, if you feel like doing any of those or have an idea for one that's not there you can write something and send it to me. I'll put whatever I get on the site. Also as I mentioned above if anyone knows how many games the LCS went I could use that. If your team has any ROY, Cy Young or MVP candidates tell me and I'll add them. | |||||
