Jay-P suggested having a league all-star teams. I think it's a good idea so hopefully some other people will too.

I think we should have each team list any nominees from their team. Don't bother listing anyone that definitely won't make it. After each team has their nominee's in we can vote on the league All-Star teams. I think a player should be classified by his primary position even if he occasionally played at his secondary. If there is a specific case that someone feels strongly a guy should be classified at his #2 because that's where he played every game we could probably make a exception.

Positions:
C
1B
2B
3B
SS
OF
OF
OF

SP
SP
SP
SP
RP
RP
RP
RP

The hitting positions are obvious, I don't think we should have any backups. I think we should only have 4 RP instead of LR, MR, SU and CL because the Negrette's, Caracioli's, Goldsmith's etc. could be excellent anywhere. Any opinions on the positions?

Oops didn't realize that we were nominating from our own team, but I think thats kinda counter-productive if we are I mean you can see who Im going to nominate then by my team stats I had one player for every position and didnt really platoon anyone, other than that possibility I think it's pretty pointless to just state our starters.

Id do that I say we vote on NL and AL, I mean nominating players for our team requires every1s involvement, and it seems with the awards not everyone is around, so I vote we do that, of course after I sweep J's team in the WS:)

I think it makes it alot easier if everyone nominates players from their teams. If there are any obvious players not nominated, we will then have to correct that. We should only nominate players who are worth it.

My nominees -

Miguel Rubio and to a much lesser extent, Manny Ramirez were the only bright spots on a horrible season 1.

I think it's time to wrap this up. How do we want to do voting? I think the ballot we used for awards was good so I'll make one up and get voting started. If anyone else has another idea on how to do this that's fine too.
