Royals won another World Series, hopefully this year the NL can stop them. My team went 47-17 but couldn't get by the Hard Hitting Stros, the beat up on Bohanon and Norton so I got stuck relying on Grybowski and Geiss. No I have Shiell as a #4 and Geiss as a LR so that should give me some more depth at bull pen, hopefully Chris Gomez and soon to be Card Gary Burnham will bring some more hitters to an alread potent line-up, Dan Ramirez remains as the only weakness, (412 Avg 487 HR) Good luck to all. |

Does anybody know when Swami planned to announce who won what awards? I was just curious. Thanks

Ouch. Cleaned out the Giants in a sweep. Giants didn't even score a run off my pitching staff.
BTW, Kevin Ohme will be coming up this season. 460/444/324/457 with a 480 Stamina Rating who turns 30 Week 4...

I probably won't be keeping this team. When GSB becomes a pay site I'll have to cut down on teams and I'm already committed to another league. From the look of things gurupies are integrating their teams into one or two leagues. If I decide not to use this team then I'd be happy to give it to someone joining a keep-your-team league if anyone is interested. The team is pretty good so people wouldn't have to worry about rebuilding.
I'll be around until the transition comes unless I hand the team over to someone else. If I do hand it over it would be after things become a little clearer and I decide what I'm doing.
Good luck this season, I'm looking forward to my first Championship (should be my third) ;).

Doh, I lost a game. Ficking Yankees, breaking my 15 game winning streak. Due to this loss, the Mets will be calling up 30-year old career minor leaguer Kevin Ohme, a SP with an incredible collection of pitches. He'll also be an innings eater. It is currently unknown where he will pitch. There is a little bit of speculation that he will replace Scott Downs in the rotation, who currently has a 2.77 ERA, which is .09 higher than his career average. Ohme may also be working out of the bullpen as a long reliever to get some MLB experience.

Grah, lost Casper (492 AVG) for 5 weeks. At least I swept the Cardinals in the process.

Finally the Cards start cracking heads, hopefully in time to catch the Mets, only 7 Games back and 32 to play, here goes a rally I hope!

You expect my team to lose 7 more games? @#;+)
BTW, we meet again Week 15 Matt. Finish off the season with the Cardinals and Cubs. Week 14 matches me up against those Astros...ohhh, how my team wants revenge on the Astros...@#;+)

Yes, I expect you to lose 3 more against other teams and 4 versus me. Here's to a division race.
