Subject: M2 Season 10 - Last season Posted by: WiddleAvi - [270302920] Sun, Feb 25, 21:18 Welcome to what may be the last season of a very competitive M2. Well I made one big move by signing Norton as a free agent. After losing Monds & Hermanson to Retirement I had the money to afford it. I quickly checked out the draft and after last years good draft this years is pretty lame. Is everyone ready for this years coming free agency. Ken Sims of the Mariners will be a Minor league free agent and he is already ML quality with over 400 at every level including fastball. And I think he is still improving !! He can easily turn out to be a 1800+ Pitcher !! | ||||||

Division Crowns NL East: Mets (8) Cubs (2) NL West: Padres (5) Giants (4) Dodgers (1) AL East: Red Sox (7) Yankees (1) Indians (1) Orioles (1) AL West: White Sox (5) Royals (3) Rangers (2) World Series Champs (so far) Mets (3) Royals (2) Giants (1) Padres (1) Red Sox (1) Rangers (1) There is some division dominance, but with 6 different teams winning the world series, this has obviously been a very competitive league. Oh, and the Red Sox have beaten the White Sox all four times in the playoffs where they have met. The Mets have beaten the Padres 2 out of 3 times in the playoffs. Could we be seeing a Mets-Red Sox match up??? If so, the Mets have beaten the Red Sox all three times in the world series. | |||||

I'm all paid up - sorry for the delay. Had to consider several factors, and I'm only in for 6 months right now. I'm going to business school in the fall, so we'll see how much free time I have at that point (my guess is: not much) and judge whether or not I can continue. Very exciting 10th Season for league M2 though, what an unbelievable playoff series with the Red Sox. To come back from 3-1 down to force game 7, come back from 6-2 down to tie it in the bottom of the 9th, from 7-6 down in the bottom of 10th to tie again, you had to know I thought this might be my year. Alas, 5 playoff appearances without a World Series bid...frustrating!!! Looking forward to battling for the new NL East, once the merger happens. Until then, go M2! | |||||

Ok let's do a little detective work. The Giants Whitesox, Padres, RedSox, Braves, Rangers and Orioles have all logged on today. The RedSox, Braves, and Orioles are not coming to the new merger league. The Braves are not going into the merger at all, so there is no reason for him to bid up a free agent that he won't be competing with. The Redsox and Orioles owners are going into the merger, but with other teams. This would be the perfect opportunity for one of them to keep a quality player off of a competing team. They could bid up a player above anyone else, not worrying about their bank account if the do get him, or if someone else gets them then that person could go bankrupt. Sanfran has said he wouldn't do this, so unless he is a liar that leaves Sachin as the perfect suspect. However, Sachin's last login was at 9AM. Now on the other front, we have the teams that are moving into the merger. Not much is known about these teams. However we do know (unless he is also lying) that WiddleAvi has 77 mil in the bank. Last time I checked Sims was at 102+mil. This would instantly bankrupt him going into the merger. We can scratch him off the list. That leaves the Giants, Padres, and WhiteSox. Now, St. Louis Psychos has a baby, so if he is spending his time online constantly outbidding me then he is not doing a good job of being fatherly. Scratch the Padres off the list. That leaves the WhiteSox, Giants, RedSox, and Orioles. Now the whitesox last login was before noon, so I would scratch him off. The heavy bidding started after 5PM which was right around the time Sanfran logged in. After all this research, I have come to one conclusion....... I don't know who the hell it was, but I say to them, congratulations on being the new owner of Ken Sims. | |||||

All i have is my word, and i didnt bid on him, if you could ask the commish, im sure he could track it or tell you, also if i am the one racking up the bidding(which im not) then my team will get him and then you will all know for sure. But since its pointless to argue this fact, i wont log into my RedSox team again. Thats the only way you will see im not biding. I did bid on my former 2bman(cant rember his name) because it was 3 years 6 mil and i uped it to 4 years 10 mil. So i wont log into my redsox team untill tuesday morning. Also i only have 50mil in my bank. And if anyone wants my log in and pass to my redsox team e-mail my rangers in f3, and ill give you my login name and pass and you can see i am not the current bidder on him, i dont know how else to prove i didnt bid on him early.
