Deniro was a sick SOB in that movie. The first Bad News Bears was a pretty good baseball movie. For love of the game had a couple moments, but for the most part it sucked ass. | |||||

Still, 62 would be about 1000 times better. Maris was a one year wonder. Mantle is was a drunk. I would much rather watch a movie about McGwire and Sosa. Brock and I and some friends went to Busch stadium for a Cubs/Cards series that summer. It was awsome. Even though my Cubs were swept, those games were the most fun mlb games i have ever been to. | |||||

Here's an email I sent Wammie that goes out to the rest of you that think like he does: You're an idiot for that last paragraph. I won't hold it against you because you're repeating what somebody else said. McGwire's knee is not 100% so he won't play in day games after a night game and Edmonds tweaked his groin in warm-ups. You are showing a complete lack of knowledge by typing what you did. Even if these previous things hadn't happened, the lineup was totally acceptable. They rocked Hampton. It should have been worse. I like the A's and Giants, Worm. I am not a baseball fanatic but I root for both teams. I am also a Laker Fan and a Raider fan. Born and raised in Calif. Amazingly enough, I also like the Clippers, Warriors and Kings. I hate the Chargers and the Dodgers and could care less about the Angels or 49ers. Not that it matters, but I never liked the Rams either. I am a Pac-Ten fan and the Rose is the only Bowl that matters. | |||||

Jom Rome is a loud mouth but he pretty much talks crap about everyone. He has no clue what he is talking about when referring to Raider fans, though. I have been to Raider games in Oakland, Seattle and KC. Raider fans are loyal and hardcore. Cubs fans are just ignorant....lol.
