Listen, To whom it may concern:
There are way too many talking smack. IT is okay to talk a little but when i go on the boards and want to see players nominated for award voting, and see people posting about each others mothers it drives me crazy. It is immature and it must stop.
This is a game, we are supposed to be having fun and some people ruin it for others. What i am saying Be considerate of the other players becasue if this keeps on happening many people will leave this league after their subscription runs out and then we will have nothing. If this does not stop there will be problems. That is the Botom Line.
There are several owners who feel this way who contribute a lot to this league and those people have nothing better to say than insulting others will drive these people out. And it is those people who post pointless messages who should be thrown out.

Smack-taling can actually be a fun part of any league, but what goes on between Timing, Brock, TB, San Fran doesn't fall under the category of smack-talk. I'm all for spicing up a rivalry by telling the other guy how your team is going to beat his team's ass and stuff like that, but what's with the personal insults when most of us have never even met each other?? Absurd, if you ask me...
P.S. I'm not saying I have never stooped down to that level and lost my marbles once in a while, but it's gotten a little out of hand. C'mon, when worm is actually sounding scholarly compared to others on this board...you know something must be wrong

I'm sorry about all those posts but 90% of mine were neither smack nor insulting. They were simply stating facts about Swett's actual contribution to Timing's team. He's the one that mostly used insluts. I know I piss him off with my posts but what else am I suppose to do? Should I just not comment about Swett only playing in 100 games and let what happened last year with Sims happen again this year?

The talking is partially why i am absent on this board, i hate to see it cause its pointless. if you guys want to insult eachother do it somewhere else, so we can filter through it inorder to get to the good stuff, that J posts and the JPI plus other stats and stuff that make the league great. I am happy you guys are talking and having a good time, but it gets old. I am not sayingi havent done it but there are days when every post by timing et al is just crap no needed on that board.

I hate getting clumped in there with Timing and Brock but my past behavior hasn't been any better. I have refrained from personal attacks on the message forum this season. I did not lose my cool even after being insulted by Timing, San Fran and the originator of this thread. You won't find me calling anyone names or telling someone to quit crying.

The reason many of us are absent on the boards is
the non-stop spouting of insults or/and ignorance.
I can handle being ridiculed for my trading prowess, but abhor being labeled a racialist by my literary challenged competitors. If you have to be negative, KEEP IT PRIVATE. Please don't contaminate our board.
As a lawyer, I get paid to fight, why come here and do it for free?
I'd rather be playing fantasy sports with my friends than defending pointless attacks. This is getting to be an easy choice. First some of us stay off the boards, next some of us find something else to do....I am thinking about it.
This legue is even more rewarding when you get your GSB a$$ handed to you every friggin night. I have a great farm system, but may not stay to see them mature. Maybe the more verbally aggressive managers will enjoy beating up on teams managed by the GSB computer.

I think we are all tired of pointless jibberish on the threads, and part of the reason that it is pointless is because it is the post season. there is nothing to do in gsb during the post season, so people will often use the time that they would have used on gsb to go to the boards.
I am sure it will clean up once we get back in the season.

I haven't lost anything. I know exactly what I'm doing. Prophylactic needs to be taught a lesson and I'm relentless enough to volunteer for that assignment. If all of you were so concerned with insults, etc where the hell were all of you for the last month? Where were all of your concerns and thoughts on the matter then? It's weak to come in after the fact and talk about why you don't post here as if this is some new development in the last day and a half. If you're going to try to exhibit some leadership for the benefit of the league then try doing it when it's needed, not after the fact.
