When do I start spending RP's, and how long does it take after you select read about a player to see his stats? |

You can start spending RP's now, although most of us would advise to wait until after game 5 of the HS season (Game 2 of the regular season for our teams). You will see stats after the first game that is simulated. If you are in L5, that will be tonight. Spending points (reading about, writing, etc.) gets you no additional information. I'm in league 14, conference 5. Coach name is HerbGreen, team name is Annapolis Smokers. I'm in my second season. Still trying to figure the game out though. My first recruiting class was a bust as I only got a +5 class. There are a few other gurupies in this league as well. I know Beastiemiked, Myboyjack are in this league. Beastiemiked had the #1 ranked team for a while last season.

recruiting is something that you adapt to overtime. There's no one way to do it, everyone has their own stragtegies.
however, to get you started, this is a basic way of recruiting.
Don't spend and RP on recurits until after college Game 2. So after your team has played it's exibition and two games. This way, you'll be able to look at 5 games worht of high school stats.
As you'll notice, you have a "You top 35 recruits" page. it's there for a reason so fill it up. It'll allow you after week 3 (game 9) to see W3/W12, which is a very important indicator on your chances of getting a recruit.
as far as giving out RP. give 4 guys 17 RP (these guys are call "maxes" and should be good players, as you will be giving 17 RP to these guys every week). then give 1 RP to 15 guys. these guys can be good players but don't have to be. however, they chould all be guys you rather have on your team than a walk on. then give ouy a scholarship to 10-15 guy having he smae criteria as the 1 RP guys.
This will give you a nice group of recruits.
