RSF - i love the SSB recruiting spreadsheet, it saves alot of time and makes the game more enjoyable for me but i noticed something today when using the 'Stats Update'
it seems to import player stats in a different order than in the original spreadsheet, updating the order of players with corresponding statistics but leaving Att's in their original order - the result is that stats match the players but Att's don't
the original sheet appears to have players sorted by Region then Hometown (ie Reg1,Allentown, Brunswick ...) - the Stats Update appears to import players by region then by the order in which they appear in the SSB Recruits listing (ie Reg1,Reading, Newark ...)
its a great tool as is and you are generous to share it so freely - i just thought i'd point this out in case you are interested
Original Order:
Kelly Gibbons Robbie Kaufman Ross Cherry Edward Valentine Forrest Mathews Wesley Gilkey Jimmy Patel
After Update:
Garrett Benton Morris Whaley Barrett Doll Lloyd Easley Ian Rehm Blaine Thornberry

what I do is, after the original download, to get the att's I add a column (1-768) so I can resort everyone in order to update the stats.

Yeah, if you use the "atAGlance" thing, the way it reorders the names is incorrect, and I didn't think about the attribs being off as I alway just reload it all (ahh, the glories of cable modem and Excel97!).
I'll put in the extra "reorder" column to fix that.

Takes me about 10 to 15 minutes max.

wow - i run it from work (T1 line that is at least as fast as cable even during peak times) and it takes two hours+ to get to player 200 - unreal

I'm actually getting an error when I run the new version, so I'm still using last years version.

Sheesh. A thread about my greatness has deteriorated into THIS.
Thanks for the prop, Kev. TH is my favorite team to coach, and I'm glad when they do well. Actually, this isn't the first time I've been #1 after five games, and while that's an impressive accomplishment, TH has never gotten past the round of 32 in the NTT.
Every couple years or so, you get a class that you just "know" is going places. I actually got two in a row, with Wesley/Madison followed by Kiplinger/Fortwengler/Bristol. Honestly, a monkey could probably coach this team to an NTT berth, even without Walser and Wantland.
Markham is shaping up nice. While I probably won't ever start him over Walser, he leaves me confident that I can start Fortwengler and perhaps Bristol or Stith next year to replace Madison and Wesley, without sacrificing too much bench.

Don't forget about me, I'm #14 after a 5-0 start. I've been pleasantly surprised this year with my team, and while I haven't played any real tough opponents yet, I still wasn't expecting to start 5-0. I already have more than half as many wins as I had my entire first season with this team. With four starters scoring double digits, and two of them being freshmen things are looking good for the future.
