Looks as though those guys who were going to buy GSB actually did. My team simmed today! Woo Hoo!
I can't wait to play that game again with a full league where the competitive balance is good. I had a lot of fun for the first 6 months before teams started to go ownerless. |

Now that they have new owners im trying to join but it wont let me, it still gives that demo teams full crap, ive been trying for months...

They said on the message board that they will be running the leagues as-is for a while then they will re-open the game in a few weeks maybe.
They were also talking about contraction where they will group together all the current active teams and let them play in their own league for a while for free. Then start up some new leagues, re-drafting and everything

They just contracted leagues and evaporated league E. I was given someone's old last place team and 200mil. At least it is free. 8/ I think they are still planning to form up new pay-2-play leagues or something. It's a bit up in the air and I don't even know if there is any point to working this team.

Hey guys,
I just acquired the old GSB game from some defunct owners. I'm reeling through the code to see if I can fix the bugs and make it work again. Not the best programming job, I might add. Anyhow, check back into the game periodically. I hope to get this thing running soon. No promises on the time schedule though! I'll be running stuff for free for a while if I can figure it out.

If you ever get it running smoothly again, please post a link to the site. I am not going to play again until it is as good or better than it once was. It is hard to believe it's been over three years since we actively played the game.
