Sixth Deputy continues to impress, running a personal best time of 118SP in a stakes race last week, and still coming in 2nd.

I bred two 2 y.o. horses this week for the Irish series in GSR, but as of yet they have not showed up in my stable. One is going to be a Giant's Causeway progeny and the other I can't remember right now.

This will be my first GSR contest.

118 -- that blows me away. I don't see numbers like that.

But I had a good week. Mine Devastation won a stake. That's a good omen for 2003, cuz I went for months and months last year without winning one. And I had 5 winners in 16 races, putting me tempoarily at the top of GSR division 1. Gold River II looks like a good 3-year-old. my 2 entries in the Michigan Sires Stakes showed nothing.

Congrats on leading GSR Division 1! That is not easy to do. I have stayed in the middle of the pack since inducted to division 4.

What number is Gold River II? I looked in Toral and Larot but didn't see him. Is he a prospect for the KY derby? or GSR derby or whatever the big race is?

No, Gold River II (27407) isn't that good. She ran six points behind the winner of the sprint filly stake this week, and way behind the graded stakes winner. She's just good for one of my 3-year-olds. I'm not used to seeing 90s from them in January.

Still looks pretty good :) A 91 for a filly now is not bad. Would be better if it were a route though.

Nice run in our yahoo hockey league. Brodeur with 4 wins in one week, sheesh! All I need is for Hull to get a hattie set up by Wooley every time, and for Cujo to get a shutout, oh yea, and Lidstrom to get get shutout and the Primeau to get -2 or so for Philly. That's not asking for too much is it?
