We've added quite a few seats and I'll be going through the roster to boost salaries of anyone who is underpaid.

promize - we're still looking for some human starters for the RGB Berzerk team.

link your players here (and please make your attributes available for all to see) and we'll get you a contract.

I just spent 5 minutes watching plays from the RGB team. It is addicting, I don't know why, but it is.

I don't think I'm going to boost up Earl Lackher right away. I probably will later in the season and hopefully can be lvl 6-7 before next season.

Good to see you Promize!!! Talk to Tree and talk about where to set your skill points.

Can anyone figure out how to watch the game live? I konw Doug was going to tray and figure it out.

Had a big G-IM meeting last night with several coaches/GMs/scouts etc. Went over playbook and they PMed players who needed to make adjustments based on our game plan and the opponents. Our game is at 3:00 so PLEASE check your GLB PM INBOX. JT cna't be around today, but left instructions with Kyle on adjustments to the game plan/depth chart based on what players are able to make the adjustments asked of them. Also read our team's forum as I know there is one setting that came up yesterday that most need to change but I'm not sure it was mentioned in PMs and not sure I should mention it here.

No need to tell you how big this game is from a financial aspect. On the year, I have added 900 regular seats and 720 Club seats. I upped the prices. But at the last minute it was suggested I raise the prices even higher. I did and it partially worked. The regular seats completely sold out. All 900!!! But the Club seats added yesterday didn't. I have raised the reg seating prices and lowered the Club prices. Today is a home game so I can keep playing around with ticket prices until our next home game until we can sell out. I am not antiicpating adding any more seats at this time as they will take 2 years to pay for themselves (including concessions), but we made so much more than I had budgeted that I put that toward those seats. Based on the numbers Wey made in concessions, our concession sales should cover a big chunk of our salaries going forward. Just hope I've got them priced optimally.

You cant watch the Game "Live".
It only lasts a few minutes.
Once the game is over you can watch the replay as many times as you want.

Guys, I sent out PM's a couple of days ago to our GM and Head Coach and never heard back at all from either of them. I also posted here for them to check their PM's. (Post 339)

I also didn't hear back from my co-ordinator at all from Post 379, so I checked the forums and saw I should go HARD for intensity, and since I am out for the rest of the day I am going to boost up to 7 seeing as how I haven't heard back from anyone at all.

No worries though, I don't need my contract re-structured at all this year, I just wanted to boost my stamina and speed. This is going to be a close game today, so I want to send out our best line-up.

If I boosted and it was a wrong move, I apologize, I just didn't hear back from anyone at all.

Lets win this thing!!!

Barilko, I would hold off boosting right now. You've boosted once this season and I believe you'll be level 6 or close after this game. If you struggle to run the ball in the game then I say boost, but right now I wouldn't.

Alright boys quick pep talk before the game.

We need to go out there and stomp their hearts out as quickly as possible. We need to jump on them fast and then never let go. I've seen you all getting prepared for today's game. I'm proud of how far we've come as an expansion team. Most people have the will to win, few have the will to prepare to win. You all have shown that you want to win and you are willing to do anything to go out there and win. Now I want you guys to GET OUT THERE AND SHOW ME WHAT YOU'VE BEEN PREPARING TO DO YOUR ENTIRE LIVES! LET'S GO!!!!!!

Wiggs,

There are players who DO need to boost for us to be competitive today. Those players were emailed by Kyle/JT. They might not be here for game time so I have a list of instructions on what to do as far as depth chart based on who was able to improve their players. Several players have already done as requested and we signed a couple more players last night to fill a couple weaknesses. I think JT and Kyle are doing a tremendous job. Also GL did a great job with the advance scouting and that really helped JT game plan and adjust fatigue % and depth charts.

There is SO MUCH that goes into this. The more I have seen from the last day and the games that have already happened, I am now more of the opinion of Wiggs that boosting is not nec. a bad thing. JT and Kyle also saw where we were coming from as we studied our deficiencies. Still some have been told that boosting isn't nec. just yet and some have been told it's very necessary. Some have been given recommendations but it's up to them. In the end, we're going to put our best players on the field in accordance with our game plan and matchups.

My guy wasn't made optimally and is just now starting to get where he needs to be. In fact, I am still shy I think. Hit lvl 5 this morning and could hit lvl 6 after the game with XPs but have still considered boosting one more before the game. I have been told I don't need to, so likely won't. But I am going to be mad at myself if we lose this game when I and others could have boosted and didn't and that is the difference for not only this game but perhaps the playoffs. I am just learning so I don't know. Learning a LOT every day though.

Toral and Promize - offers have been sent, along with some contact info if you need help developing your players.

everyone else playing - remember to log in pretty much every day. otherwise, the GLB system declares you inactive.

Ref - i'm going to make one comment regarding your statement above, then let it go:

There are players who DO need to boost for us to be competitive today. Those players were emailed by Kyle/JT. They might not be here for game time so I have a list of instructions on what to do as far as depth chart based on who was able to improve their players.

you guys who are running this team need to remember that there are human players behind the football players. some people might want tolearn and study a bit without being told what to do in regards to SPENDING THEIR OWN PERSONAL MONEY BEFORE THE FIRST GAME IS EVEN PLAYED (because, after all, flex points cost real $$$).

and then, seeing that playing time might get threatened if we don't do everything the coaches tell us to do, is pretty unsettling.

I'm not telling you guys how to run your team, but i am offering a suggestion here. Patience is a virtue, and there seems to be a win win win win win at all costs sort of mentality going on, when really, aren't we in this to have some fun. we haven't even played the first game yet!

Well, Larot has finally signed a contract. It's been very hard for him, this waiting and rejection, but he was finally able to sign. Ut was frustrating because apparently his Wonderlics were way too high for people like wiggs, Kyle and ref to be interested.

Larot is looking forward to following his coach's training advice.

FTR, I don't sign initial contracts.

I just work on finances and do restructuring of existing contracts. JTSerb is our head coach and Kyle, as owner, also has signed some guys. You guys who have received renegotiated contracts is from me as I am the only one who does that. The other guys know a lot more than me on players and where they should have their skills set at or what position needs are for our team.

Tree, I wouldn't say we absolutely need to boost those positions to be competitive but it would be a major boon to the team if they did. I understand that boosting cost $$.

As ref said we are learning and we do need to see what happens in the first game. No one's playing time is being sacrificed right now. No one's going to be playing every play right now so everyone is going to be seeing plenty of time. But I do agree that we need to get the best out of the players that we have on the field, so if we see something you could work on we'll make the suggestion.

These are all suggestions. We'll let you run your player how you want and we'll come up with a game plan that fits what we have on the roster. If you see something that we are doing wrong we'll gladly take your suggestions too. And if you don't like what we're doing just send Ronnie Boozer to come talk to us. We'll understand after he's done with us.

Toral it's not that we didn't like Larot, I think he'll be a star. We just didn't hear from you for 4 or 5 days and when we saw games were starting on Saturday we made the decision that you weren't signing. We knew we had the B squad you could sign on to and get some playing time there. We're hoping next year Larot will want to sign with us, and if not we hope he'll stay with the RGB so we don't have to compete against him. We wish you the best, and I have actually heard from The Exorcist that he is glad to see such a promising young SS on the team.

Ref - i realize we are all learning here. that's why i said what i did. not to be accusatory, not to get people angry, but just to express that we haven't played game one yet, so let's be a little patient, that's all.

Toral - i know that we haven't gotten along often in fantasy sports (ooh boy, THAT's an understatement)...but this is a different kind of game, and i think things will be just fine. i hope. lol

Kyle - i appreciate your post. trust me, i am dedicated to my player. but, i want to see what happens. i kind of look at it from the perspective that we gain XP faster, the lower levels we're at. so if we can naturally get to lvl 4, 5, 6 and still not be out of the running for the playoff spot, then come the latter part of the season when we get that super boost, we might run the table in the playoffs.

The thing you need to remember is we have alot of players who want to boost but are being told not to by the coaching staff/owner/other players whoever. I am just suggesting of you want to boost you shouldnt be told not to. If you choose not to thats up to you.

Hmm...Baloou Hen had a lot of snaps on the defensive side of the ball.

Punting by both punters was abyssmal. Is there any way to be more aggressive and just go for it when we are in the opponent's side of the 50?

A note: If you leveled up during the game DO NOT use your skill points right now. Wait for word from you coaches on how to spend them. I want to see what we need to work on before we decide what we need to spend points on.

I leveled up during the game, and although I'll wait for some direction on how to spend them, I can guarantee I'll need to spend on them on Tackling with a side of Stamina. I had 3 missed tackles, which gives me the dubious honor of being on the league leader list.

the punting seems to be an issue. in all 3 games i've played, no punter on any of the six teams averaged more than 27.3 yards.

i realize it's probably tied into their levels and attributes, but there should be some level of reasonable skills, because a punter who is averaging 25 yards a kick won't even make his high school JV team.

i'd be curious as to exactly what our tactics and strategy were. my guy was in for 32 plays, and had precisely one ball thrown to him, and it wasn't until the 4th quarter. seems odd for the WR3.

Are coaches really expected to know how each palyer works better then the owner?

My guess on the baloo hen thing is he had to be there because he got special teams tackles or ones after interceptions. The game jsut doesnt alter his plays and just shows how many he was in the game.

Btw it doesnt look like stamina was much of an issue as most starters got the majority of the snaps. I know that I got like 52/58 on offense

Both of my players, Haya Griva and T. L'Overture leveled up. How should I use my 5 skill points? I'm waiting for coach guidance.

Good game. I'm glad to see that our bench was got lots of playing time and few players played more than 60 plays. Every individual's play over 50 is one less for a bench player. We are building a juggernaut here, the USC of GLB!

Think we need to look at our special teams on kickoffs, just reviewing my kickoffs and we allowed returns of 37 yards and 31.5 yards, I noticed we had our LB's and HB's in our special teams, which Im sure drains them as well as them usually being so slow to get into the play. We might as well have someone punting the ball and them fair catching it if this keeps up.

I know I missed a chipshot, and a longer FG so I'm not perfect, hopefully leveling up will help some more there.

Michael Dawson, WR, press conference.
on the game: "this is a tough loss. we were there all game but when it counted on 3rd and 1 we did not convert. that was the key play in my opinion."

on his performance (1 catch, 9 yds): "what can I say. I was in there for 1 offense play, got the ball and made the most of it. thats it. the coaches decide which plays are called and if I'm in, I execute."

on the next opponent (New Orleans): "like our team, they have lots of good players. we need to play hard again and try to score more. I just heard they lost their first game too, so I bet they also don't want to start the season 0-2."
