All,
I have just logged in to the SW Premier League site and it seems that the standings have been changed and my team is now in 2 WWR. Not that I am complaining but how can this be ? The stats seemed to be correct on Saturday, strange. Anybody have a clue why this is ?
Also, don't worry El Tel, you are still 10 WWR but Tro's Crew who were above you in 9 WWR have been demoted to 11 WWR and Sozeres has swapped with him. Now I would be pissed if that happened to me. |

I just noticed that too,Dai.Very strange.Haven't kept any records myself.Bubba looks to have suffered badly.Makes you realise the important service filled by the Gurupie standings in terms of a full season record and keeping SW up to scratch.Congrats on No.2-which hopefully will remain.

Cheers El Tel but call me stupid or whatever you like but I don't want 2 WWR if I did not EARN it, which I don't think I did. I just don't know where these extra points have come from, very weird !
If you receive an e-mail from SW, let me know ASAP on daipac@hotmail.com. On the site they say that winners will be contacted shortly so it looks like we could get that TV after all, or a $1,000 cheque, either way we are on for a good prize !!

Odd. I dropped a few spots too. Oh well, c'est
la vie. Congrats on everyone's performance! We
Gurupies managed to live up to high standards of
our Gurupie "family" :-)
Dai and El Tel, keep us up to date on the TV
situation. And our Inter Guru team managed to
finish 275 in the world even though we started
late. Thanks for all the discussion and help with
that! I'll miss the intimate quality of the
soccer boards (esp. compared to baseball). I
can't wait till next season! Hopefully I'll see
some of you on the other boards.

Went from 61 to 55 the last couple oof days. Anyways, congrats everyone, thanks for all your help and hopefully there will be a soccer next year!

I believe the reason the rankings changed are because SW have credited teams twice what they actually scored on Tue 15th May. Or at least I have 249 points too much, and that is what I scored on that day
Bumps me up to 13th, when i really finished 17th, but still won't get me a tv:)
Hope for the sake of someone who had actually earned the tv, that SW fixes their error

The only team to be affected is Tro's Crew who was in 9 WWR and is now in 11 WWR because of the error, damn I would be pissed and nervous if I was him or her now !!

I have just looked at the site now and all is back to how it should be, just a small glitch from SW to end the season ;)
