There we go, finally it's Italy's turn. I've got high hopes for my team, from my point of view it's the best we've since a long time.
Our defence is the best in the world, if Totti and Vieri play like they know, we should enjoy ourselves a lot :)
Croatia - Mexico started slowly, it's the second part of my bet so I hope that 0-0 will be the final result! ;P

Great, Mexico is winning. Now all I need is Turkey to steal a point from Brazil, and Italy to win either 2-1, 2-0 or 3-0. Then my parlay will be complete.

Best Croat defender is Tudor, he's an amazing player, fortunately he's not in the WC because of surgery on his knee. BTW, I'm saying farewell to my bet :(((

Post hit by Turkey, against Brazil.
Turkey is a very dangerous team, it could be the real surprise of the World Cup.

Of course, the guy on Turkey who has been flopping all first half, diving around, laying on the ground like he has been shot, gets the goal right at the end of the first half.

Figures

Hasan Sas is a total idiot, but he's an outstanding player.
BTW, Ronaldo scored the equalizer, and I'm very happy for him. I hope he gets some revenge on destiny, in this World Cup.

Ok, normal routine...two goals by the best forward in the world and then we took some rest. Good start, guys!

Great day for me on another team... Rivaldo (1 goal, 1 assist), Ronaldo (1 goal), Nesta (clean sheet), Vieri (2 goals), Totti (1 assist).

On the rotoguru one, Totti, Cannavaro and Buffon. Trusting Italy was a good choice :)

It seems that I completely focked up my fantafoot teams (2), so playerboss is my main interest now... I don't play Smallworld's game.

Too bad we don't have more teams in the Rotoguru-division in playerboss... What's wrong with you people? ;)

Uh?
It seems that you're going quite well on Fantafoot, what's the matter?

motherfuking referee... that penalty cost me a lot of money. with a tie there, my big parlay would have been right on the money...

A least I had another good day in the smallworld game... 3 Italian defenders and Vieri.

I was thinking the same thing IRRI... Maybe investing a few bucks in trades is a good idea if it will keep me in prizes range.

How can you be mad at the ref for making the call when the guy dragged down Rivaldo in the box? He obviously had a hold of his jersey, and Rivaldo was in the box when he went down...on a breakaway. That was a good call.

The bad call was giving the second red card when Rivaldo went down like he was shot in the face when he got hit in the leg.

The guy Ozalan dragged down wasn't Rivaldo, it was Luizao. Also, it didn't happen inside the box, but rather some 1-2m outside it. It was a very bad call, but the outcome of the match is still justified considering that Rivaldo was robbed a goal earlier, based on an off-side that didn't happen.

That call was silly. A very nice win for Italy, though -- and what fantastic finishing by Vieri. World Class!

It's not a matter of opinion, it's a soccer rule: if the foul starts outside the box, it's just a free kick.
