Haha, what a joke that first game turned out to be... I'm sure the Koreans feel like true winners now. For any sensible person it's probably quite clear that the game ended 2-0. Oh well, all I can say is that good luck Germany, you might find that there are more Koreans on the field than just 11.

Anyway, Senegal - Turkey is starting soon, looking forward for an entertaining and fair game, and wouldn't mind at all Senegal winning.

Man, the bellyaching continues....

I was cheering for Spain, as I had them as my pre tourney pick to win it all, and had money on it. And I wont even say they got screwed. Seeing a replay a billion times, and seeing it in complete still are a big help. Make the call once, on the fly. A lot harder.

Also, name me a sport where there has been no controversial call.

Until then, quite whining, and just enjoy the sport you so care about.

Good day.

Ehh... What? I can assure that I had no money on Spain's win, nor do I especially like their team. Heck, I guess I couldn't care less what happens to them. But you watched the replays, right? And the ref only saw it once, right? Maybe you could now give your obviously well educated opinion on what was wrong with Spain's golden goal, I mean where was the fault? How was that a very close call, as there was absolutely nothing even remotely wrong about the situation? Explain that if you may.

Why do I have to name a sport where there has been no controversial call? How does it change anything that has happened during this World Cup?

Well Samuli !

The linesman raised his flag that the ball was out. A mistake no doubt, but the Ref relied on him and blew the whistle so technically the play was dead before. Somehow the same Situation like the Tommasi Golden Goal, the play was dead before the goal was scored. A mistake for sure, but not the Refs fault. He was let down by a bad call of the linesman once again. I'm sure there will no more random linesman assigned in the next WC. There will be teams of Refs and Linesman that are used to each other.

Yes ok, fair enough, but the initial question remains: How was that a close call? The ball barely touched the line, and anyone could see that, there's no need to watch replies. So, kev, Would you mind being a bit more informative instead of just throwing in this trademark "Aaah shut up!" -talk of yours?
