i still think that real madrid will win the champions league, but it's a big revenge by italian soccer to have 3 teams in the semifinals.
without the poor playing by Peruzzi s.s. lazio should have been near the uefa cup final too, but it'll be impossible now to overcome a 4-1 deficit. a 3-1 would have been a nice result, but 4-1 it's too much against a really good team as Porto. Anyway, never say never, and tomorrow there'll be 70.000 voices pushing the players to this mission impossible.....

Lazio it is maybe nice from an Italian viewpoint to see three clubs in the semies but from a neutral point of view it is not. Certainly Inter-AC will produce two more boring matches as both have shown not to be capable of producing some decent attacking play while having a squad full of world class players. Especially Inter was just lucky to make it, they haven't really shown anything this year. AC played well in the first couple of rounds but was truly disappointing versus Ajax and very lucky to get through on an injury time goal. The matches of Juve versus Barca were also not very entertaining but Barca still tried to be score a goal while Juve was playing defensively. However Juve has improved their play recently so probably deserve to be there the most of the Italian squads. Most entertaining were the games between Manchester and Real. That is the type of game you want to see.

i know, but you can't play soccer as if you're the harlem globetrotters.
you've to win the games, and not everybody has ronaldo-raul-figo-zidane-carlos, so sometimes you've to defend more than a lot.
i really can't understand why people judge the defensive part of the game as a shame.
i find really interesting it because it shows the real strategical way of playing.
it's not all that good if you just watch soccer for the fun of goals, but it's extremely interesting if you look at the game from a technical point of view.
