liverpool has been my second preferite team since they defeated roma in rome in the champions league final in 1984.....but tonight they did the greatest comeback ever in soccer international history, coming back from a 0-3 deficit against milan, winning the cup at the penalties with dudek imitating the great grobbelaar.....and what a great leader gerrard is....he took the whole team on his shoulder and guided them and the fans to success, playing great soccer and having an agonistic fury in himself.......what to say, congratulations, and you'll never walk alooooooooone!!!

I didn't get to see much of the game, but heard it was incredible. They were saying it was even better than the 1999 comeback from ManU down one goal in injury time and won the Champions league. I did hear the last few minutes of extra time and the shootout. Everytime Liverpool scored, the crowd went nuts. When Milan scored all you heard was Liverpool fans whistling. I wish I could have seen more. I am not a Liverpool fan, but am stationed in England so when in Rome.

I have it taped and can't wait to see it. I've read about it, heard about it, etc, but want to see it!

such a sweet game... 'twas 0-3 at half and since the game is on at 3am here, i was contemplating going to bed to get some sleep before work

i'm glad i didn't

the 3 goals in 6 minutes in the 2nd half for liverpool were incredible... after gerrard's brilliant header, smicer scored on a laser and then gerrard of course got fouled in the box

i think liverpool should have subbed baros out sooner because he was completely ineffective... but his sub cisse didn't fare any better... he was looking quite sluggish for only playing a quarter of the game (in his defence, liverpool were in all-out d mode)

dudek really had shevchenko's number... 2 huge saves at the end of the 2nd extra time and then the penalty to clinch it

I saw the whole thing, it's one of the weirdest games i have ever seen. Liverpool did look totally out of it at half time. And Ancelloti was probably correct when he said Milan played well for 114 minutes...and crazily for 6! I still have absolutely no idea how Gattuso stayed on the pitch after hauling down Gerrard for the penalty. Madness. Gerrard would DEFINITELY have scored.

Well done to Liverpool, i didn't give them much of a chance. Now we have to wait to find out if they get the chance to defend next year, as they didn't qualify by rights finishing 5th in the Premiership, and don't get an automatic berth as champions.
