I got very, very lucky and ended up with Japan v Brazil, Portugal v Mexico, and Switzerland v Togo. I shall be stationed in Dusseldorf for what will be 10 of the best days of my life, i am certain.
I'm hoping Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Adriano and Robinho can help to cure that small RIHC hangover that seems to be lingering. Not that i think Mike D will be reading this thread, of course ;)
Who else is going to the greatest spectacle on earth? And to which games? I'm getting so excited!! Only 9 days until it all starts! |

Swish Im going from June 10th to June 21st but will be stationed in Berlin. Ive got tickets to Brazil vs Croatia on the 12th and it should be an absolutely amazing time, I've been waiting for about 6 years for this world cup to come and cant believe it is 10 days away!

Portugal/Mexico should be a good game so will Brazil/Croatia. Have fun guys.
Was anyone lucky enough to get tickets for any of the quarterfinal or semifinal matches?
I tried for those games during all the sales releases but got turned down everytime. I figured being treated to a quality game would be worth the $4000 or so I would need. Now I'm regretting not trying to get some of the group games tickets.

I think anyone who got a Brazil game can be considered lucky. I think Portugal v Mexico could be one of the best games in the 1st phase.
I'll be supporting the Dutch, since a) it's in my blood and b) Edgar "persuaded" me. I think Edgar has tickets for Netherlands v Serbia, actually.
You'll have a great time, Twarpy. I was at Euro 2004, and the experience was so amazing that i have vowed to try and make every major tourney from this day onwards if at all possible.

It'll be crazy, but amazing. Also supposed to be wet in the first round though that can certainly change. Bring your rubber(s). ;)
