OK, as everyone knows, I don't know too much about soccer...*ahem* excuse me... I mean football. I just read an article saying that Ziege is now in Liverpool, but there was a problem with the valuation or something. I have no idea what that does to his playing status. (valuation is the amount the club, in this case, Middlesboro, should get as the fee from the "buying" club, in this case Liverpool, ... I figured out that much).
Here's the link (sorry, I dunno how to put that URL thingy on a thread): http://www.soccernet.com/england/news/2000/0501/20000825mfcziege.html

It says here (Official Liverpool website) that Traore "will line up at left back for today’s clash at Southampton" but that Ziege is "likely to go straight into the side at left back once his match fitness is up to the required standard."

I just want to clear this up for everyone. Some people may remember me from the Hoops boards. I live in the UK and I am a mad Liverpool fan, Ziege has signed for Liverpool and will be playing in their next match against Aston Villa on Wednesday. The problem with the fee is between Liverpool and his old club Middlesborough, they are arguing about the fee that is paid but the deal has gone through and he is a Liverpool player now, I hope this clears things up.
Cheers,
Dai

Dai, Do you have any links to local papers or sites that could help keep the rest of us informed. Check out Guru's drop down menu and see if there are any good links we missed!

www.sky.co.uk/sports is the best page I have found and also www.football365.com is another great page, check these out and you will be able to find information on the fee problem that is happening.
