Bradford v Arsenal

Bradford hope to have Dan Petrescu after he missed the 6-0 thumping by Manchester United with a hamstring strain. Dean Saunders and Jamie Lawrence are still out.

Arsenal are without Dennis Bergkamp and Silvinho due to thigh strains. Ashley Cole will make only his second Premiership start while Sylvain Wiltord is set for a full debut. Tony Adams is out with ankle trouble, Lauren has travelled to the Olympics with Cameroon while Lee Dixon is a doubt.

    Coventry v Leeds Utd

    Moustapha Hadji has overcome a groin injury and could return to the Coventry side at the expense of John Eustace. Runar Normann looks set to make a surprise appearance after impressing in the reserves.

    Leeds boss David O'Leary has ruled defender Jonathan Woodgate out of the trip to Coventry. Woodgate has been struggling with an ankle problem. Mark Viduka is an additional absentee as he prepares for the Olympics.

    Ipswich v Aston Villa

    Ipswich have a doubt about defender Mark Venus as he is suffering from an infection following the removal of a wisdom tooth.

    David Ginola is pushing for a place in the starting line-up for Aston Villa. Ginola proved his fitness following a recent back injury after making an appearance as a sub during Villa's 3-1 defeat at Liverpool.

    Leicester v Southampton

    Neil Lennon is in line for a recall to the Leicester side after recovering from groin and thigh injuries. Stan Collymore is pushing for a place but Muzzy Izzet has a stomach upset.

    For Southampton, Marian Pahars has an ankle injury, captain Jason Dodd a foot injury while Matthew Le Tissier is still sidelined with a dead leg. Kevin Davies and Francis Benali are still out.

    Liverpool v Manchester City

    Liverpool have lost defender Sami Hyypia with a twisted knee picked up in midweek. Vladimir Smicer is doubtful with a hamstring injury while Gary McAllister is suspended. Patrik Berger is still struggling with a knee problem but Emile Heskey should start.

    Danny Tiatto is Manchester City's main concern after picking up a groin problem at Leeds. Boss Joe Royle has minor doubts over Nicky Weaver and Steve Howey.

    Manchester Utd v Sunderland

    Dwight Yorke has a hamstring injury and so Teddy Sheringham is set to partner Andy Cole in Manchester United's attack. Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs return in place of Jonathan Greening and Quinton Fortune. Denis Irwin could make his first appearance of the season. Definitely out are Jaap Stam and Roy Keane.

    Jurgen Macho will continue to deputise for injured goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen but Sunderland are still without Alex Rae and Steve Bould.

    Middlesbrough v Everton

    Everton boss Walter Smith is struggling with injury problems and will be without Duncan Ferguson who is out for another three weeks with a calf injury.

    Smith will have to make do with the squad that lost 3-2 at Spurs with the likes of Michael Ball, Abel Xavier and Alessandro Pistone still sidelined.

    Newcastle United v Chelsea

    Newcastle will be without Didier Domi and Stephen Glass. Both picked up knocks in the 2-0 victory at Coventry but Warren Barton is available after suspension and Shola Omebi is included in the squad .

    Chelsea are without the Olympic-bound full-back Celestine Babayaro. Jon Harley could replace him while Mario Melchiot could deputise for Gustavo Poyet if he fails to recover from a knee injury. Goalkeeper Ed de Goey is still doubtful so Carlo Cudicini will continue while midfielder Mario Stanic has a knee injury. Albert Ferrer returns to the squad.

    Derby v Charlton (Sunday)

    Branko Strupar is out of Derby's line-up with a hernia problem picked up in the 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough. Malcolm Christie could replace him in the starting line-up but Giorgi Kinkladze is likely to start on the bench.

    Charlton have almost a full-strength squad to chose from. Defender Carl Tiler comes back into the squad after his one-match ban and could replace Steve Brown. Jonatan Johansson could make his first start of the season after scoring as a substitute on Wednesday night.
