Cole Hamann Smith Henry Still waiting for this weekend's points. Scholes, Carrick, and Hamann all sat so they were useless. Looking at today's price changes the top gainers are all +100,000 or higher and the losers -230,000 or lower. As far as the losses go, this swing is obviously a factor of how widely held those players were, but the large gains make me suspect that trades are perhaps becoming more concentrated as fewer new teams join and more players lose interest and stop trading. I have a feeling that the market may be on its way to becoming even more volatile than before. I wonder what the swings will be like when only the hardcore managers are left? What to do about our team: 1) Dump Hamann and Scholes for sure. We should pick up Beckham before the next freeze, for the other replacement how about Vieira, Keane, Bowyer, or Berger. 2) Now that I think about it, a few of our players are losing good money so maybe this is the week for more transfers? Candidates for trading include Carrick, Rowett, Cole. | ||||||

Sell Hamann now cause he is widely holded and he didn't play. I think we could wait still Champ League game ManU - Eindhoven is over. If Beckham's knee is fine after that game - buy him, otherwise there is plenty of time to find another option to fill this empty slot. | |||||

With Beckham's price soaring, we have to buy him now, bad knee or not. I also agree with Sigh's other moves, so I will make them. Normally I would agree to wait and see if Beckham is fit, but with so many trades left we should use them. Even after the trades, we still have 8 transfers left, plus more today. trades made: Scholes -> Beckham Hamann -> Keane Rowett -> Silvinho 8 transfers left SWŁ Remaining: 3,650,000 | |||||

Bubba,Cole seems to have a regular spot,though I don't think he played well on Saturday.If and when those useless bastids at SW post some scores we'll see.Carrick gets dropped for Lampard in H's first team.Don't fancy them v Arsenal.Berger,Dyer,Jensen,Pires,Vieira all now have more appeal for points and money. Beckham and Harte didn't start the Man U-Leeds match. I just made the following, as per El Tel's suggestions: De Goey->Westerveld Harte->Ziege Beckham->Dyer The only problem is I took a gamble by trading so close to the deadline, and according to the transfer history the last buy was at EXACTLY 21/10 12:00pm. Hopefully that doesn't make our team invalid for this week. When I checked on the "Frozen Lineup" page, it says we're valid for Sat Oct 21 so hopefully we're okay. Fingers crossed. | |||||

Maybe I should have just slept in this morning. Apart from possibly making our message board team invalid, on my own team I traded out of Beckham and picked up Keane, despite the fact that the whole week I was telling myself that Vieira looked like a good pickup this week. So what happens? Keane gets injured at 30 minutes and is replaced by...BECKHAM! At halftime it's ManU 1(Yorke)-Leeds 0. I'm going back to sleep... | |||||
