Subject: Message Board Team (Week 8) Posted by: Bubba - [6816256] Mon, Oct 23, 05:23 We had a kind of blah weekend of results. Keane was injured, our last-minute Beckham->Dyer was fruitless, and our strikers didn't do much. The good news is, SW updated the stats pretty quickly. Hopefully they've turned the corner in making sure this is a better quality game. I've gone and made Smith->Hasselbaink trade on my own. These are the top loser/gainer so I don't want to miss out on what is sure to be similarly big swings this morning. I'm also tempted to do Keane->Beckham because of volatility but I'll hold off that one until I hear from you guys. Carrick should also go. Should we go for another cheap- or mid-priced midfielder, or downgrade another position to get a pricier top midfielder? Where did everyone go? In the absence of any input I went Carrick->Leonhardsen and Henry->Stewart for obvious money reasons. If anyone's still out there, please let's have some suggestions. I'll start: Dyer->Beckham: pick up Becks while we can still afford him. Next up is Southampton, so SWP should be very good. Stewart->Henry: do this Fri pm/Sat am. I don't know about you but I'll take Thierry over Marcus any day. By then hopefully their money swings will be reversing. | |||||

Bubba,Leonhardsen is out 4-6 weeks with a serious hammy-he had to go off on Sat.Man Utd will likely play their res this week,since they HAVE to beat Kiev to stay in The Champions League.Considered thoughts Friday. El Tel | |||||
