Sorry Sigh. I'm back, I've been busy this week. Not too busy, though, to try to take advantage of our transfers surplus to go Dacourt->Solano, Robinson->Barthez, Ferdinand->Desailly, and Beckham->Poyet earlier in the week. Not horrible moves, except for the fact that the Poyet-Beckham swing today was 910,000. I knew that would happen but I didn't see it happening so soon and so drastic. Oh well. Needless to say, last week's fixtures were disappointing. At least we'll get more Leeds SWP from the midweek match. BTW it looks like this week's matches are all midweek, due to FA Cup action. Is this right? Inter Guru: Barthez (from Robinson) Radebe Desailly (from Ferdinand) Stam G. Neville Bowyer Solano (from Dacourt) Poyet (from Beckham) Roy Keane Robbie Keane Viduka SWP: 18496 Transfers: 21 SWŁ Remaining: 970,000 Lineup Value: 76,800,000 SWŁ You're right Sigh that Arsenal have a good matchup this week. I'd love to pick up Henry and Pires or Vieira. I think I'd prefer to keep Viduka who has Coventry to look forward to, so maybe Robbie Keane->Henry. Roy Keane should go (money and I read somewhere that he's going to be rested this week), maybe for Pires, and we need to dump Poyet, maybe for Beckham again. Of course, I don't think we can afford the above moves yet, so maybe we could swap Radebe and G. Neville for cheaper defenders, maybe S. Pearce, Tessem, or Silvinho (any others?). Mid-week games after the Cup when all are injured and squad rotation kicks in.But no Villa or Ipswich.I agree that Arsenal and Chelsea have plum home fixtures,Sigh.Players that I think should be avoided,and we might have are:Neville and Keane(rest promised),Bowyer and Woodgate(trial in Hull starts Monday),Matteo(subbed on Wed with leg injury).Leeds v Everton is Wednesday week so there is a case for holding other Leeds men.
