Hi all. Our team at the freeze was:
Barthez
Desailly J. Terry S. Pearce Stam
Vieira Pires Solano Beckham
Henry Viduka
we have 4930 in cash, 19 transfers
Our two Arsenal midfielders did ok but Henry was disappointing (esp. considering that we traded Robbie Keane to get him). I still don't know how we did yesterday, except that Desailly didn't play (time to get rid of him).
Any thoughts on yesterday's matches, trades, or this week's fixtures? All I know right now is that Leeds and Everton have a midweek match, so there's extra point to be gained (do we dare pick up Leeds players like a couple of weeks ago?). Teams with good matchups are Arsenal (at Coventry), Man U (home v. Everton), and Leeds (away at Ipswich and Everton). Also A. Villa have a good defensive week at Bradford, a good clean sheet possibility. |

I'm really confused by happenings at Chelsea and Leeds.Desailly has a hamstring, but this squad rotation thing that saw Melchiot and the man we all thought was on his way to Marseille,Leboeuf, come in for Terry after the Cup was strange.I think I'd get Leeds defenders for double points because they are sound away.I'd go(in order):Ferdinand,Radebe,Harte,Mills. Martyn(g),Bakke(m)and Keane(s) also have huge x2 appeal and are on my teams, but replacements are not essential here, unlike Desailly. El Tel

Just read that Henry (thigh strain) won't be making the trip to Coventry. Confirmation and possible replacement if true?

Sorry guys I didn't have time to comment here. Hopefully you got Keane, he did ok. Hasselbaink did well too.
Buying from teams with double games sucks. Bakke was rested and Leeds defenders all raked in 30-40 swps. Considering Hyypiä, Adams etc. brought over 100 swp it is a waste of trade. Let's hope Leeds players rock the house tonight against Everton.
