Found on soccernet and skysports, Graeme Lesaux should start in the charity shield match vd United. Mario Melchiot is also expected to start. This and Chelsea's opening games make three defenders a good option: LeSaux, Melchiot and Desailly. But is this to big a risk to take....?

Interestingly enough, I have all three. And I don't think I'm alone. I'm sure at least one will prove to be a stud (hopefully LeSeaux), but I'm pretty sure at least one will stink up the joint.

I'm also thinking of getting all three. However, I'm wary of the effect that the pending Deschamps transfer to Valencia might have on the Blues' defense. Even if that deal falls through I might drop one of the trio. Which one of them is least likely to do well?

Well now I know how someone who has no idea about baseball and plays it feels. I am in one of the soccer divisions-Dai invited me. Looks pretty cool and fun. I have absolutely no clue who you guys are talking about! Guess I have some time to learn!! If I ask what appear to be ignorant or obvious questions please bear that in mind and thanks!!

same here VIDevilRays... I'm new to soccer, too... but I kinda understand on most of what they're saying...
Now, of this trio, I have Desailly and LaSaux... I was going to buy Melchiot but I don't like the idea of having three defenders of the same team... it goes against my gut feeling...

For those who are aimed to pick up Chelsea players Chelsea lose eight to international duty
Be careful ;-)
