That's not true.
Swirve used to be Echelon.
PSC = Progressive Sports Challenge. They are about 2 years old and have nothing to do with Swirve.

I got an announcement today through the regular mail of the rebirth of www.sportsbuff.com . I played their games for several years - when I first played in '96, you had to make all your trades over the phone.
It was always an entertaining game, but it could get somewhat pricy. This year's version seems to be the same as in the past - weekly roster freezes with salary caps, and every three weeks a player at each position receives an increase in salary which goes to the salary caps of teams currently owning the player. Lots of prizes with over $150,000 in total - $15K for the winner, then $3K,$2K, $1K. $300 for the winner of 30-team leagues. The big caveat is the $2/trade.
I'm not sure if I'll play, but if anyone's looking for a different game and has some extra bucks to spend, this could be an option.
The letter they sent me says to enter the code 'SB2000' in the Promo Code field to waive the $9.99 entry fee - you need to do this by March 15th though. This is to placate their customers in 2000 - a Canadian company had bought Sportsbuff from the original owner and went bankrupt after the 2000 baseball season prior to giving out any prizemoney (I'm not sure why I felt it was important to point out that they were Canadian, but there it is...)
