Subject: Sandbox Game Limits

Just curious.

Sandbox imposes game limits for each position. What happens on the day that a limit is reached if the limit is also exceeded?

Example: Suppose I have already used 161 out of the 162 starts for pitchers. Today, I have three pitchers starting. Will only one count, and if so, which one? Or will all three count?

I dont know how Sandbox does it, but Yahoo does it based on IP. If you start the day with only 1 IP left and your pitchers throw 16 innings, you get credit for all of them.

That's how ESPN does it too. But I can't find any answer in the Sandbox rules. (That doesn't mean it isn't there... I just can't find it.)

I think I asked the same question last year, but if so, I forget the anwser.

Film Room Moderator Post:

... on the day that you max out your pitchers (at either SP or RP position), the determination of which pitcher score you get depends on your type of league, but the date and time of games are NOT relevant:

a) In FP and Roto leagues, you score the points for the highest-ranking (in terms of total season FP) pitcher coming into the day's games.

b) In Head-to-Head leagues, you score points for the player having the highest total points earned during the match, regardless of which day that pitcher played. This could mean the highest individual game score is NOT counted, if that player didn't have the highest total score for the match.
