I know that this place is a secret haven of actuaries. I just graduated from college and am considering going into the field.
If I were going to do some self-studying for the first 2 exams can you guys recommend a book/web site/etc that would be a good choice to utilize?
I'm pretty sure I can grasp the material but a good program always helps. |

Property/Casualty or Life?
I (and Guru, I think) have been out of the game too long. Even the number of tests seem to change daily. But if you are looking at the life side, Madman's the guy. He pops into the politics board once a week or so.

Check slide rule books. They should have the introductory study materials. That's where I got mine.
