What do you think will happen with him? Is he expected to go on the DL? If he doesnt, how is Cinci's outfield liekly to play out? Freel back as an infielder with Hamilton, Dunn, and Griffey playing every day? |

There going to reexamine him Thurs. He's almost defintely out for the NY series even if he doesn't go on the DL.
When healthy, he'll play most every day with Freel splitting time at 3B and in the OF in the utility role.
The Reds are still trying hard to deal Dunn....

I think they will deal Griffey before Dunn. With Dunns contract, Griffey may be more desirable and come cheaper. Any word on Hamilton's wrist?

just a sprain. they put a cast on it and will check it on thursday. DL time is doubtful.
he's been playing every day, even against lefties. can't see that changing. there's been a lot of talk about Dunn being traded. that's all I know.
